Chapter 3: RESOLVING The Problem
Patay! Late na ako!
Na-late ako dahil I lost track of time habang kumakain sa cafeteria ng breaktime.
Mapapatay ako ni Senior Marcus nito!
* BUMP *
"S-Sorry po! M-Mam Lianne? Ba't po nandito kayo sa garden? Nag-sisimula na po ang 4th class ah!"
"Oh, you're Mark's new girlfriend. You're Jenna, right?"
Patay ako nito! "Sorry po talaga! Hindi po ako yung girlfriend ni Senior Marcus! Ginamit lang po ako ni Senior!"
Napangiti sya. "Oh really? Well, I can't do anything. We formally broke up and I sensed it that this will happen. So you can relax."
"A-Ah... G-Gusto nyo po ba syang balikan?" Tanong ko sa kanya. Her eyes started to water. "S-Senior..."
"I-It's my fault... Pero... As soon as possible oo. Hindi mo naman kailangan na kausapin sya whatsoever. I'm sure na nagsasawa na rin sya sa akin eh." Nginitian nya ako. "Oh yeah, may 4th class pa pala!"
Ngayon nya lang nalaman?
Student Union Office...
Pagkatapos ko ayusin yung folder na pinapaayos nya kahapon, nagtanong ako.
"Sir, pakisagot nga po itong tanong na ito; Mahal nyo parin ba si Senior Lianne?"
"Bakit ba gusto mong malaman? And can you follow what I said earlier? Just call me Senior Ma--"
Bakit?! "Masama bang malaman ko?! Alam mo ba kung bakit? Kasi nagu-guilty ako sa sinabi mo! Listen, hindi tayo mag-on!"
"Guilty?" He chuckled. "Fine, I still do love her."
Napatingin ako sa kanya. "Really?!" Yes! "Kung ganon, bakit ka nakipag-break?"
"Matumal na kasi yung relasyon namin. I don't have time to go lovey-dovey with her since I'm the Student Union President. Ayokong masaktan sya at magkagulo dito. It's bad to have rumors. They'll just make my reputation bad."
Reputation? "So mas mahalaga pa yung "reputation" na yan kesa sa kanya? Kay Senior Lianne? Pagkatapos naman ng humigit-kumulang 2 years matatapos ka naman na eh."
Tumayo sya at tumingin sa malaking bintana na nasa likod nya. "You're indeed right Jenna. After 2 years, all of my hardwork will be acknowledged and yes, these things are important but," Tumingin sya sa akin. "Do you really care? I know that it does because you feel guilty. Pero Jenna, using your name for breaking an almost nothing relationship is just fine."
