narrators pov

he, tyler joseph, was painting his neck black. the mirror told him so, which was in his basement.

tyler trapped himself in the cold, dark room for days ever since josh, his mirror came into his life.

once finished his neck, he went back to the mirror. hes missing something, something important.

his hands, he forgot to paint his hands.

panic flew through him as he dipped his hands in the think black liquid.

black paint became apart of his life, his mom gave up on feeding him when he locked himself in the basement. he didnt want josh to yell at him, oh he hated when josh yelled at him.

josh had a nice exterior, funny personality. but sometimes he could get a little to mean. sometimes he threaten to hit tyler, hes usually sorry after.

tyler walked back to the mirror. sitting down on the white pillow he placed there a few days ago.

"im finished josh." the seventeen year old said to the read head.

"good boy, no-"

"tyler come here please, theres something i want to talk to you about."

tyler looked down, eyes wide. dont give in. josh said into tylers head. "i wont" the boy whispered.

the calls got louder and louder as josh talks. josh can feel the pressure that tyler was feeling in his head, choosing between his best friend and his mother.

stress and pressure coursed the teenagers body. but he tried not to show it, which was a bad habit he did. he hid his emotions a lot, but josh knew when he wasnt all to great. he could hear it in his mind. the stress screaming at him, the anxiety clawing at his skull wanting to get out.

josh usually saves him, hes the one who shuts them up. tyler cant do that on his own. he just tries to deal with it the best he can.

the basement door opens.

josh disappears from the mirror.

"tyler honey, please come eat dinner. you havent eaten with us in days."

dont listen to her tyler. she wants us to stop being friends. you dont want that, do you?

tyler shakes his head.

"come on please?"

tyler stood up, black paint dripping from his neck and his hands on to the floor. he slowly walked over to the chipped wooden door.

in a soft, calm voice he said, "tomorrow."

really tyler? your gonna eat dinner tomorrow? your gonna ditch me for that old filth? pathetic.

tyler didnt listen.

you know your not normal. your insane, just like me. ans thats all youll ever be. an insane, suicidal teen. and thats all youll ever be.

tylers mind ran. he wasnt crazy, right? he didnt think he was crazy, he was normal. normal. yeah thats what he is. normal.

that it all in, its okay.

its okay.

okay.

okay

tyler sat on the white pillow that was placed there a few days ago. he stared at the mirror with the sad, tired, gloomy eyes he usually has.

tyler wanted to leave.

dont you dare leave.

tyler didnt listen as he stood up, sighing and looking at the mirror as josh appears.

you leave and ill never talk to you again.

tyler couldnt hear the constant screams and cries from josh as the insane, suicidal teenager walked out the door.
