Milo sat in the living room. it was a cold December day Milo sipped his cup of peppermint cocoa and Teg walked in bundled up in his scarf and a large hoodie to top it all off. he quietly asked Milo how his day was Milo answered with
"Uh it's been ok I mean class felt slow but other than that it's fine."
"U-uh s-so do you have work today at all later today Milo?"
"No, I've got most of the week off since my classes are overflowing with assignments and I only have three out of the six but it could be worse I guess why?"
"Uh, I was wondering if you wanted to go out and do something like we could maybe eat out... d-does that sound good for you if not we can reschedule!"
"Oh no, it sounds perfect! yeah, we can go do it! uh, what time would we do this?"
"Does 6 sound alright for you?"
"Yeah ok!"
Teg kissed Milo on the cheek and then went into his room and Milo rushed out of the apartment and knocked on Romans door
"ROMAN I need your adVicE heLP mE pleAse!!"
"Milo, what the hell?...y'know what just nevermind come in already what's up? Milo, why do you look and sound like you've just set yourself on fire?"
"Teg uh...they asked me out and I thought you could hel-"
"oh you need dating advice alright... so first what are you going to wear ?"
"I was really just going to wear this...why?"
"Oh sweetie no! Do you have anything nice to wear? Like a tux or at least a dress shirt that you can throw a bow tie with! Or at least something? Please, my creative outfitting is working 100% right now and I NEED you to at least be a 40 right now!"
"uh ok? as for dress shirt, I might have one does color matter at all?"
"Depends on what colors do you own in dress shirt?"
"Purple, Red, Black, and a light but still sorta dark blue!"
"Hmmm OK well no black you're going on a date, not your lovers funeral Red I'll need to see you in before I decide you in purple seems good so grab those and your slacks can stay I guess...Now ties do you have a bow or a necktie at all?"
"I've got a couple of bow ties..."
"whaT colors?"
"Purple, black and I also have two pride bow ties"
"Hmmmmmm Ok Purple would not look good on purple your pride ties sound amazing and all but too colorful so I say use black bow tie it'll look nice and I am fearful to ask this what shoes are you going to wear"
"I was just going to wear my combat boots since there is snow out and I don't need my feet to be freezing"
"Fair enough what color are they?"
"I have two pairs one pair is red then I have the pair I'm wearing now..."
he pointed at his feet to show the black combat boots he was wearing
"Uhh well hmm"
Roman spun as he held his finger under his chin and thought till finally
"What shade of red are your other combats?"
"Maroon."
"Wear those!"
"Okay..."
"WAIT wait ok this is the last thing! it's cold out what other jackets do you own ?"
"I've got a maroon jacket and a black scarf"
"keep the jacket lose the scarf hun ok?"
"Right!"
"Now what do you wear makeup wise?"
"I'm not much of a fan I guess just nail polish to an extent"
"Right! yeah no, hun, I can obviously see you are a nail biter you wearing nail polish won't stop your habit."
"Your right well what about actual advice now what do I do to seem nice?"
"Be the best gentleman you can be and uh you guys aren't going to-"
"NO! I mean n-no we aren't...that's really gross you know that right?"
"Every human does it eventually"
"EW stop now please"
"Right I apologize for that Milo anyway...JUst be nice but that basically means be yourself that's who your prince found you am I incorrect or were you acting?"
"A-alright u-uh thanks for the help!"
"HAIR!"
"What the hell Ro-"
"Sorry Milo to startle you but I was trying to say I have something for you to put in your hair it'll look nice with your little yellow highlight!"
"Oh ok? what is this thing?"
"here This will look nice on you and take it I barely ever wear it anyway."
"O-oh t-thanks Ro I love it"
"Knew you would Yellow goes well with your personality"
"Y-you sound like my mom"
"That a good thing?"
"Sorta I guess..."
"Sorta well I will be the best mom I can be for you But I prefer Dad If that's ok"
"Yeah you're going to need to ask Mori that one"
"Who?"
Milo left the room with the yellow flower crown Roma had handed him and put on what roman said might look good on him and roman was right. But the jacket was a little weird so he changed into a different jacket that was black but that's all he changed he put the flower crown on and put his boots on and waited for the time to come the time for the date. He waited until he saw the Most adorable person in a nice outfit their self. They complimented Milo's outfit and he stood up offering a hand to hold. Milo and Teg walked out of the house and went to a nice Diner and ate and then saw a movie after a while they went back
"Milo?"
"Yeah teg?"
"d-did you have an ok time"
"Yes why Teg?"
"...I-I just wondering"
"h-here I know it's a little late Teg but I thought you'd like it I know how you like gravity falls and Cipher so got you this for your birthday It took a while to come in though.."
"M-Milo it's I love it! Thank you!"
"No problem honey flower"
Teg laughed at the nickname and looked at Milo's hand and pulled him close and kissed Milo. Milo was love struck and kissed Teg back with a tiny peck he accidentally shocked Teg
"S-sorry!!"
"Aww don't be sorry! that's really cute !"
"Y-you think?"
"I do you're already cute Milo!"
Milo chuckled bashfully with blush running across his face with a tiny little smile.
"Love you Teg!"
"Love you too!"
