chapter 8: I'm Virgil uh who's this?

I woke up to the loud sound of Evanescence screaming at the top of her lungs causing me to seriously want to change what was my phone ringing I got up and got dressed I assumed if it was important they would call once again and as soon as I slipped on my MCR sweater I heard my phone ring again I thought since it was unknown and the fact Mo said no answering unknown calls but this calls for a test at least I answered and sighed as the sorta familiar Voice asked

"Hello?"

"uh hi Can I help you?"

"Yeah, uh is that you  Virgil?"

"Um, may I ask...H-how D-do you know m-my name?" 

"Virge it's me, Remy! Y'know your brother!Oh hey, hows Roman?"

I didn't speak or say a word I just simply hung up and walked out to see Roman in the living room with my three roommates I looked at him a huffed a tiny bit while I looked at the empty coffee table. I looked at Roman actually sewing in some gold into one of his "disguises" I stood on the frame of the door and I looked at Milo as he stood up and walked towards me I was ready to slip back into my room  and was about to till he grabbed my hand lightly I pulled away quickly it was weird he was being weird but I looked at him and frowned but looked up at the brunette lover boy and gestured to follow me he followed for some reason and  sat on the floor his brown eyes met mine and he looked down as if he was about to say 100 words and all I hear from him is 

"I-I'm sorry...I realize what it would feel like you lost one of your brothers your parents treat you badly because of your powers Roman is all you really have I-I'm truly sorry I overreacted and I could've put Roman in danger"

"why are you apologizing? I literally made you feel like shit and made you have a panic attack..."

"No, it was fine later I felt ok I just didn't wanna leave Teg was all..."

"R-Real-"

the conversation was interrupted by my phone ringing again I looked at the number the same as this morning god what does he want? is all I can ask at the moment  I declined the call and looked at a concerned Milo what did I do oh no uh I'll ask I guess 

"you o-ok what uh what did I do?"

"Was that someone important I can go if you need to answer i-"

"Nonononono! You're fine uh it's an unknown number I won't answer  it's weird actually they called this morning too..."

"weird...do you think it's Tal possibly somehow he could've found your number somehow?"

"No...I  d-don't think it's that really it seems pretty unlikely really likely to be someone from work though."

"Oh well I do appoligize Virge I never wanted to  make you feel bad or feel like I'd try and harm your family I'll ask you when I need help from Ro for something as dangerous again"

"Sure uh I'll meet you guys out there I might want to see what they want at work!"

"ok see ya in a little bit!"

I watched as Milo left and closed my door and looked at the most recent calls sighed and started to call the  caller from this morning it took a couple of seconds for him to pick up I heard him sigh before asking

"hey did you accidentally dial me or like this serious is this even You Virgil?"

"Yeah it's me Rems and it's no mistake...how are you?"

"Well I should do what you did and hang up but I won't because I dont have anyone else to speak to  I guess I'm alright...how are you two doing? Mom and Dad still as Bitchy as usual?"

I laughed before I responded"Yeah as always...Ro is well he's Ro if that's what you're interested about"

"Can I talk to him I-I didn't have a way to talk to him like at all really."

"Remy what can you do?"

"Um wait, excuse me what  Kind of things do you mean?"

"Power-related can you do stuff as well as us?"

"well duh why do you think I moved?"

"I-I oh but what are they?"

"there just like these stupid things I can conjure why need something? Did you find a boyfriend?!"

"Heh, yeah uh  n-no n-not y-yet s-sorry R-rem uh but y-you see we need L-like help y-you see there's a powerful threat and we need help getting rid of him."

"I-I'd be fine with helping Virge for sure but what about Roman I'd feel like he'd set a damn house on fire if he found out."

"I'll tell him and reason with him we'll need all the help we can get either way."

"Ok well text me if you need help you've got my number now anyway."

"Yeah alright uh bye Remy! I've gotta go I sorta told my roommate that I'm answering a call for work."

"alright if you feel like it say something stupid like  your c0-w0rkers say hi!"

"Heh sure ok bye!"

I walked out of my room and looked at the pile of materials for costume design and looked down at a tired Roman I sighed and walked up to him and gestured him to follow me and he did he sat down and looked at me and asked 

"what's up you need to go to work don't you? Do you wanna ride?"

"No I've been off for a week they think I'm on an eight-week vacation but it's about a family member..."

"What's up is Mom& Dad ok?"

"I-Ro I got a call from Remy today..."

"Remy? HE Talked to you? He had the nerve to Talk to you after eaving us when HE LEFT US ALL ALONE FOR PRactically ALL OF OUR CHILDHOOD!???"

"Roman! calm down... he's sorry ok! he left because of mom and dad I wish  I did the same honestly he left because he had powers too and needed to express himself in his own way so he left to know it would be better for him to live in his own way! He missed you too so much by the way!"

"I-I you're serious?"

"Yeah, I'm not going to lie..."

"Fine...I'll make him an outfit too a presume?"

"No don't worry about his ok I've got this one!"

"O-ok"

I walked out with Roman and he cleared his throat to make an announcement a loud one but necessary 

"Mo, M, and Teg  I have news we're having someone else assists us during our fighting.My...Our brother Remy will be assisting us during the fight that's all."

they all sounded pretty ok with it but something didn't feel right  I ignored it because it was probably just paranoia at its most for sure but I didn't know what was yet to come though...it'll be scary but what exactly is it?
