You made your way through the stable, heading to your horse's aisle.  With every step you take, you can't help but marvel on all the little details around the barn.

The wooden pillars at the entrance, that were once nicely polished but now deteriorated with all the scratching Frank has done to mark his territory by leaving a mark or to stretch his body out. You can also make out the engraved words carved in by you, Tae and Jin.

The multiple decaying doors, opening too all the beautiful horses behind. Diverse breeds and chromas, but they're all the same to you, except your little filly who has a softer spot in your heart.

The aroma in the air that you've come to love. There is something special about horses. There is not an animal in the world that smells as good as a horse, well in your opinion anyway. You always thought the best spot to smell a horses' scent is right behind their ears. Unless you have that special grey that uses his pile of poop as a cushion while he sleeps.

If you haven't been around horses for a while and you enter a barn you know what the aroma of horses, horse sweat, manure and hay is and how that smell wakes up your memory. To you the odour of a horse is like a perfume. You wouldn't wear it, but it is sure one of your favourite smells.

You stood in front of the brown door, tracing your fingertips over the metal plate latched on the splinted wood. Rain.

You were too busy admiring your filly, you didn't hear the little steps on the sandy concrete floor until you felt something sharp digging on your leg, just above your leather boot.

"OUCH!!" You cringed from the stinging pain and immediately retracting your leg. You glared at the little creature that was now hissing at you, What does he want now? You winced as Frank started scratching your 2 weeks old boots. Feeling very worried for your shoes, you carefully picked him up, not wanting any serious damage done by that cats vicious nails.

"Hmm, what do you think yo- OWW" Frank flew to the other side of the stable as you clutched your left cheek, pouting. He just angrily scratched you, you just got defeated by a fucking cat.

"Bitch," You hissed at the cat, glaring at him. Your cheek was stinging, you ought to go tell Jin to come out his cat's nails. Sometimes you just have to facepalm to yourself. Who the hell has a hissing competition with a cat?

"Sssss, move!"

You immediately lurched back and bowed, muttering apologies when Frank let out a sharp sibilant sound that didn't sound very cat-like, it looks like it was about to wrestle you and you weren't up to that. Not that you're scared, you just don't have the time, you're busy. Yeh, that's it, you're busy.

You suddenly felt sorry for Tae as he went through the same this morning, only it was by you.

You crouched down infant of the cat, drawing random shapes on the ground.

"I shouldn't blame you anyway, my fault I stepped on your tail. I mean I would go all hyena if I had a tail and someone stepped on it, " You sighed, imagining having a tail and what it would feel like. Most mammals have tails but why don't humans?

You were having a mental debate In your head when you remembered something, "Actually, it's not my fault, its that aliens fault, if he didn't steal my bo- Okay then just walk off," You called out to Frank who was now walking away from you, feeling very offended. "Fancy having a chat with you! I'll take that wiggle of your tail as a wave!"

You made a mental note to also tell Jin to teach his cat manners, no one walks away when you're talking, no one. You knew that cat had a problem with you.

You turned your head when you heard a familiar neigh. What else would it be other than your one and only Rain. You grinned as you walked to your cremello horse. You slid the door open and stepped in the stall.
