Daryl Dixon:

I sat in the guard's tower, Maggie sat in the other across from me, watching the front gate. I left for my shift early in the morning before Daryl even woke up. I had moved into his cell with him shortly after we started dating, Daryl felt that I would be safer with him. I watched the walkers swaying unstably as they crossed the field, I could also see Hershel and Rick out in the garden tending to the crops. Maggie waved to me, looking bored. I chuckled and waved back. I heard the loud bang of a door being shoved open hard and hitting the brick wall behind it, I looked to see Daryl storming out of the cell block. I sighed and watched him grab his crossbow and jump on the motorcycle, barely waiting for Carl to open the gate for him before he sped off. I saw Maggie motioning something to me that sort of looked like "What the hell was that?" I shrugged at her and shook my head. Later that night, I stayed awake in our cell waiting for Daryl to come back. I wasn't sure how late it was, I was never sure of the time but I knew it had to be after midnight when I finally heard the rumble of his bike outside. I rolled my eyes, sitting up in bed and leaning my back against the wall. He took his time to come to the cell but when he did it only took a moment for him to realize how upset I was. "What's your problem?" He asked in a gruff voice, I shook my head "Do you think that's smart? To run out there every time you're upset or angry?" I asked, trying to keep my voice down in consideration to those sleeping around us. Before he could answer I continued, "Going out when you're emotional! You're going to get yourself killed!" I snapped at him, his jaw locked and his face turned hard. "You think you're my momma or something, bitch! That you can tell me what I can and can't do?!" He said, his voice getting louder. I rolled my eyes at him. "I just want you to think about what you're doing" I sighed and climbed out of his bed. "Yeah whatever" He grumbled and lightly pushed passed me and laid down. I looked back at him before heading out of the cell and sitting on the stairs.

Carl Grimes:

**Author's note...Carl and y/n were pretty young when they first started dating so they didn't really argue until the prison. This is the first real fight**

I continued cooking the squirrels and snake that Daryl had caught for us, I had skinned them and was now roasting them over a fire. Once they were done I made a bottle of formula for Judith and held it close to the fire for a moment to get warm. I announced that dinner was ready and everyone gathered around, picking at the pile of squirrels. I finished eating first and grabbed Judith from Rick's lap so I could feed her and he could eat more easily. "Thank you" He said with a smile, I nodded to him and gave her the bottle. I looked up at Carl and smiled at him, he didn't return it. I held back a sigh and when Judith had finished her bottle, I gently burped her over my shoulder. As everyone began to finish their food and head inside I realized that Carl was gone, I looked around for him and still couldn't see him. I sighed and carried Judith inside to Rick, "Hey, are you alright?" Rick asked me before I could leave to look for Carl, I pulled together a fake smile "Yeah, just looking for Carl" He nodded "I didn't see him come in" I nodded and mumbled thank you before heading back outside. I searched along the gate and saw him sinking a knife into a walker through the gate. I headed over to him "What are you doing?" I asked him, careful not to startle him while he's holding a knife. "Nothing, I'll be inside in a little bit" I nodded and sat down in the middle of the path, far enough from both sides of the gate. "Why are you out here?" Carl asked, his voice held a slight edge that led me to believe this wouldn't be a pleasant conversation. "I'm just making sure you're okay and I haven't gotten to see you much lately," I said softly in my defense, he shook his head. "This isn't play time, y/n! We're trying to survive here! Not hang out and have fun! Fucking stupid" He scoffed and stormed passed me before I could process what he just said. I sat there alone in silence for a moment before my eyes grew heavy with sadness and exhaustion and a few tears slid down my cheeks as walkers snarled around me.

Rick Grimes:

I rocked Judith in my arms softly, humming a song that was stuck in my head. I leaned back in the office chair in the warden's office that Rick had cleaned out for me. I brought Judith and Emma here to stay out of everyone's hair while they're working, we've been here almost all morning and afternoon. Emma is coloring on the desk and Judith is sleeping peacefully in my arms. "Mommy look!" Emma said in a hushed voice and held up her drawing, it was of the prison. I could tell who each person was Emma, Rick, Carl, Judith and I were at the front gate. Hershel, Glenn, Maggie, and Beth were in what looked like the garden. Daryl was on some sort of motorcycle and everyone else was standing around next to us. "It's our family!" She said excitedly, making Judith stir. "It's awesome, Em! Good job" I told her, a grin broke out on her face, but it was short-lived. Someone burst through the door, I grabbed Emma and pushed her on the ground under the desk and I shielded Judith with my body from whoever just stormed in. "You have her?!" Rick's voice shouted, making me relax a tiny bit. I turned to him, confusion rushed through me "Yes I-" He cut me off. "I didn't know where she was! I thought... You should have told me, Y/n!" He glared down at me, fire in his eyes. Part of me wanted to just give him Judith and tell him to get out but the other part knew how angry he was and it made me unsure if Rick should have her right now. So I kept a hold on her. "You need to calm down, you're scaring them," I said sternly, I've dealt with my fair share of angry and violent men and even though I didn't think Rick was that kind of guy...I've been wrong before. "Give her to me" He seethed, fear shot through me but my grip did not loosen on Judith. "Rick...you're scaring me" I glanced at my daughter, still hidden under the desk wide-eyed and staring at Rick. His lips pressed together in a thin line, I tried to calm Judith down but she kept crying. "Y-you need to calm down. You know where she is now, she is safe. We're going down to the cell block. I think you should stay here." I stated matter of factly, thankful that my voice didn't sound as terrified as I was. I reached my hand towards Emma without taking my eyes off Rick and as soon as I felt her tiny hand in mine I led both girls out the door, slamming it shut behind me.

Glenn Rhee:

I hammered boards into the fence with Shawn, one of the people who live on the farm. We were currently reinforcing the fence for walkers. Shawn and I have spent days building it up, everyone in our group had been given a job. As usual, Glenn was out getting supplies with Rick and a few others. Carl was still recovering from Otis accidentally shooting him but he seemed to be doing fine now that the shrapnel had been removed. I wiped the sweat off my forehead and continued to secure the fence, "I never saw a woman before who still looked beautiful covered in sweat" Shawn said out of nowhere. "O-oh thank you," I said uncomfortably, feeling him staring at me while I worked. I tried to focus on my work until we had finished for the day, I picked up the tools and headed to the barn to put them away. "Hey, can I talk to you?" Shawn asked before I could leave the barn, I turned to face him and he was much closer than I thought "I think we should get to know each other a little better, you're beautiful and sweet and-" He started to say but I cut him off "I'm also with Glenn." I stated matter of factly, before turning to leave. Shawn grabbed my wrist and turned me to face him before pulling me into a hard messy kiss. I shoved against his chest but he held me hard, likely leaving bruises on my biceps. He tried to force his tongue in my mouth and I bit him hard, making him release his grip on me and curse loudly. I turned and ran out of the barn, searching for Glenn in desperation. I saw him walking quickly towards the front gate. "Glenn!" I called out desperately, he turned and froze before coming towards me. "What the hell was that?!" He yelled at me, confusion washed over me "wha-" I started to say but he cut me off "I saw you kissing him! I mean...I know it's the end of the world but...you still can't...I just thought we would make it together." Glenn said, his voice leaving anger and going straight for a gut-wrenching depression. "Glenn I didn't kiss him! I would never cheat on you" I tried to reassure him. "He forced himself on me and I bit him...and I came to find you," I told him, looking up into his eyes. Praying he believes me. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you" He said softly, pulling me into his arms. "Now go inside. I'll be there in a minute" He said as he walked me up to the porch before heading in the direction of the barn.
