Odors and Love at first cry

Zoey's P.O.V
*Yawn*
I open my eyes to look around and noticed my head is on (Y/N)'s chest.
I blushed in embarrassment.
Why is my head on his chest!?
I then remembered that he too was trying to make me feel better.
I was about to get up, but realized my leg is broken and I need help getting up from the floor.
I then felt something staring at me.
I turned to see Hunter smirking at me.
Oh god even a special knows how to give that look.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V
I opened my eyes and yawned.
I then saw Hunter, Smoker and Zoey awake.
"Good morning everyone! Today we need to head out and find another safe house and some supplies, but before we pack up and get going *looks at Zoey* I need to show you how to act zombie and that broken leg of yours is perfect for this role"!

Timeskip

After I showed Zoey how to walk, move, and told her what to do she understood.
I then grabbed some of my zombie makeup and made Zoey look like a real Zombie.
I then turned Zoey to face the Hunter and Smokes and they both gave a thumbs up.
"Zoey can you walk without crutches"?
I helped her off the floor and she tried walking and lets just say she looks like a zombie with a limp.
Zoey smiled at me.
"I can walk, and how I look will fool any zombie! However what will we do if any hostile specials get in our way"?
I guess I didn't think that through.
Usually I always run away and hide, but now I have Zoey and she can't run. . . Hmmm.
I feel tugging on my sweater.
I look down to see hunter and he gives me a look of "I got this".
"Huh? Hey Zoey how do you feel about riding on hunters back when that time comes and we need to run"?
Zoey looks at me and then at hunter.
He gives her a reassuring smile and a thumbs up.
Zoey then looks at me and nods her head.
"Ok! If everyone is ready lets go"!

Another day of being alone.
Its so lonely.
Why must this happen to me.
Why must I be a special infected.
Oh if only someone can feel my pain of being alone.
If only I met someone who can tell me they care.
I want to feel loved.

Hunter's P.O.V
I'm scouting the area from the rooftops to see if there are hordes or any specials.
None at the moment, but for now I might as well get back to the gang.
I leap off the building and down where Zoey and (Y/N) are at. Smoker is just walking on the sidewalk while I'm walking next to Zoey. You never know when a special might make a surprise attack . . . I know I would.
As we were walking A ghastly smell hit my nostrils.
Bleh!
What the hell is that stench!?
I look at Smoker and he has the same reaction.
You would think smokers are the ones to smell awful, but really its just plain cigarette smell.
Something is making this awful smell.
I ran towards a building and started to climb all the way to the top of the roof to see what's causing this smell.
I look and I see a bunch of infected, but I also see a gated community.
I smell towards that direction and the smell is god awful.
Yep!
That's where the smell is.
I jump back down and went towards the others.
I got in between them and made a follow me hand gesture.
They were confused at first but went along with it.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V
I wonder where Hunter is taking us?
As we kept of walking we see a gated community.
I smiled, but that was soon ruined by a horrible smell.
Oh sweet lord!!!
What is that.
Zoey's face makes the same face of disgust.
We go inside the community to see nothing but empty house and some wondering infected.
The good news is that there was only 7 of them. Good for us, but at the same time it understandable if there's not much infected due to the smell.
WHAT EVEN IS THAT!?!?
I look around the area to see if I can find out what the hell it is until i see black smoke coming from one of the houses in the area.

Oh no!
He's making another one of his rounds.
The fires are starting again.
I need to leave!
I need to find shelter and fast!
