I wake up and noticed I was sleeping on a soft bed. I look at my surroundings and noticed I was in a big room. It looked clean and was nice. I got up to use the bathroom and stopped in my tracks. I remember someone bringing me here... but I can't remember who. I was so tired and was so scared that I didnt bother to remember their face. After I went to use the bathroom I walked out of the room and heard talking in the kitchen. I went to see who it was and I saw the lady who didnt kill me. I forgot she was a stronger zombie. I then saw her sitting next to a man. He look nothing like the ones I know. He seemed sweet and nice. He was the first to speak.
"Oh hello there! How did you sleep? I hope your ok. Is it ok if you tell us your name sweetheart?" He says. I look at him and the lady and said "I slept good, and I'm ok, but your a stranger and my grandma told me not to talk to strangers". They both giggled and the lady who calmed me down at the school got up and bent down to my level.
"My name is Witch, but you can call me anything you like. That there is
(Y/N) and you can call him anything you want too. We are part of a group who just wants to survive and help others. Now we are no longer strangers.". She smiles and I too smile. She take me to the table where the man puts down a can of raviolis in front of me. I began to scarf it down while the others begin to eat their food too.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V
She was so hungry the poor thing. I felt so bad for her to survive in a world like this.
"Sophie!"
Huh?
I look up at her as she stops eating.
"My name is Sophie! But grandma used to call me her little cartoon!". I laughed a little. I looked at her and said "why does she call you her little cartoon?". She smiles at me and say that she would do little things that would seem silly and out of place. I thought it was cute and I look to the side of me and see that Witch is adoring sophies cuteness. Honestly she was cute and it was pure. As I was listening to the little girl talk she said something that cought me off guard. "Are you and Witch together?".
Hmm I look at Witch and back at the little girl.
"Yeah were together but were not alone, we have our friends with us." The little girl pouts a little "no no no I mean are you like like together?"
What is she... Ooooh.
She thinks me and Witch are a couple.
"No Sophie, me and Witch are just friends." I see Witch pouts a little herself. I was going to continue talking but just then Zoey comes through the door.
"Oh hey I see she is awake. How is she doing?"
I tell Zoey about the Sophie and the others walk in too. Sophie seemed to be a little scared cause at least Witch seemed to be a tiny bit normal and these 2 look a little scary to her.
"It's ok Sophie, these 2 are our friends. They mean you no harm. This one here is Smoker, you can call him whatever you like and this here is Hunter you can call him whatever you wa-".
She smiles brightly and shouts out "DOGGIE"!
I started laughing and so did the others. Hunter began trying to talk to Sophie but non can understand him but the Witch.
Sophie is confused.
"What is he saying?"
Witch calms down from laughing and talks for Hunter "He says why do you call him Doggie?". Sophie smiles bright and says "cause hes on all fours and smells like one too!". We all began to laugh again and hunter just crosses him arms and begins to pout.

(Timeskip)

After everything calmed down everyone was outside playing and Sophie was playing with the other zombies, They all seem to adore her. She was playing checkers with Smoker, and they seem to enjoy each others company. She even nicknamed him slimy after she accidentally touched one of the tounges. Zoey was having fun with her too. They played sock puppets with little clothes they made for them too. It was funny cause Zoey made sock puppets of her old teammates she used to survive with and they looked funny in a sock puppet form. I like the one she made of the guy Francis. They both had a wonderful time. Sophie started calling Zoey aunty cause Zoey seemed to act more like a concerned cool Aunt.
Witch was having alot of fun with Sophie too. Sophie asked alot of questions and seemed to like Witch alot. She hasn't named Witch anything yet but that's cause she hasn't figured out what to name her yet. I was in the kitchen reading a book I picked up around the schools library. It was a book called The Castle in The Mist. It was about this boy with horns about to be sacrificed to a horrible dark queen but the boy wanted to live so he escaped and found a girl in a cage. He freed her so they both could escape and he soon discovered that the girl could open stone passageways just by touching them. It's a pretty cool story, but my mind was pulled out of the book when i heard the others rushing inside. I got up and saw Sophie looking a little scared.
"Guys what's wrong?".
