8) Drunken Fun

Redwood Inn

Aaron- After being locked in over night at Redwood Asylum, we were more than glad to kiss the outside steps as soon as the doors were opened.

Billy and Jay- We were not looking forward to the long hours it's going to take to sift through the extensive evidence captured.

Nick- Zak was right the location was a potential success, though we were due to suffer the consequences of pissing off the darker entities.

Zak- Once in the safety of the Inn, I look over the tired and on edge expressions of my Crew. "Anyone want to hang out and unwind?"

Nick- "I am calling my girls to see how they are doing, getting a shower then going to bed." I give him a hug and head to my room.

Aaron- (Shrugs) "I think I'm gonna unwind by doing a bit of painting." Like Nick I head to my room.

Jay- "Ash and I are taking a shower and heading to bed." I grab my wife's hand and we leave to our room.

Zak- I wasn't put out one bit by their answers. (Shrugs) I look over and notice Billy is still standing there and smirking. "Yes?"

Billy- "I'm down to hang dude." I wasn't tired like the others and after what I experienced, I wasn't too keen on being alone either.

Zak- "Come on..." I unlock the door to my room and we enter. "I'm getting room service, want anything?"

Billy- I think for a few moments. "I am dying for wings."

Zak- (Laughs) I dial the front desk number and ask for an obscene amount of alcohol, hot wings and chips.

Billy- I watch Zak after he hangs up. "Party for two?"

Zak- (Shrugs) "I'm in a weird mood..."

Billy- "I figured."

Zak- "I'm taking a quick shower." I grab clean clothes and disappear behind the bathroom door.

Billy- (Rolls Eyes) While Zak showers the ordered food comes...I lay on the bed eating, while I wait.

Zak- I get out and dressed, coming back to the room I see Billy on the bed. (Smirks) "Now that is a sight I wouldn't mind seeing every night." He was laying on the bed in a pair of my sweatpants.

Billy- (Blushes) "I didn't think you would mind."

Zak- "I obviously don't..." I walk over grabbing a beer and lay on the bed opposite him.

Billy- "Why are you so lenient with me and not the others...well besides Nick?!"

Zak- I take a few sips of my drink while I think over his question. "I'm lenient with Nick because I am closest to him and see him as a brother. You I see as a...lover." I watch with mild interest as the words sink in and he flushed a dark shade.

Billy- My mind drew a blank and I stumbled over any words that I attempted to get out. (Squeaks) "Why?"

Zak- (Shrugs) "I don't know, I wish I had that answer myself."

Billy- (Huffs) At least he's as honest as ever.

Zak- I put the empty plate on the night table and gently rest my hand on his cheek as I lean in capturing his lips with my own. "There is just something about you..."
