Chapter 5

Continuation from last chapter
Oh Shawn

"Hey Shawn!"

"What do you want?"

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to be my partner?" She asked

"I already have a partner so no." I spoke to her before looking back at Bey.

She just look confused, and annoyed. I was agitated because I didn't like this bitch. We had history, and I'd rather forget her than to talk to her again.

"Oh and who are you?" She asked smartly looking and Beyoncé.

Before I was able to say something she spoke up.

"Someone more important than you." She said then raised her eyebrow looking at her "and who are you?"

"I'm Keri." She spoke with a frown on her face.

"Hm. Sounds irrelevant."

I couldn't help but burst out laughing, before Keri rolled her eyes and walked away.

I looked at Bey and stared at me with a 'I don't give a fuck' face wich made me burst out laughing again.

"Well let's hope she doesn't come back." Bey spoke and I nodded my head agreeing with her.

"I regret dating her." I spoke up

"Who?"

"The girl that just walked up to us...Keri?"

"Oh...how come?"

"She put me through a lot of stuff when we were together, and I wish I could take it back." I told her

"Oh that's fucked up. Like although I don't know what happened it's still kind of sad." She spoke and I nodded my head.

"So about the project." I said flipping the paper over, and reading the back.

"How are we going to do this?" I asked her

She sucked her teeth then spoke. "That's what we have to figure out smart ass." She laughed and so did I.

For the rest of the class we talked about what what we were going to do, and where we were going to go. Obviously we were going to meet each other's parents early.

Before I was able to speak the bell had rung, and we were packing our things to go to our next class. I figured I was going to just wait until we leave out since we were rushing.

"So I'm going to meet your mom." I spoke up once it had calmed down a bit

"And I'm going to meet yours." She said back and I smiled

"Yea I can't wait until you meet my  mom though. She's gonna love you." I cheesed

Bey giggled and spoke back. "I'm sure she will."

We eventually made it up to her class and we said our 'see you laters' then she walked in the classroom. I walked straight to my class and sat down.

"Hey Jay wassup?" I heard I looked up and saw one of my old hoes I used to mess with until I met Bey.

"Oh hey Court what's good?"

"Nothing just asking if you did the homework last night? I need the answers."

"Oh shit!" I rushed out realizing I didn't do the homework.

"Dammit I didn't do it either I forgot!"

"Well I guess everyone in here getting a 0." She chuckled before she walked away and sat down.

I hurried up and took out my pencil and began doing the work. It's crazy because I know how to do the work, and I understand it. I just forgot to do it. Lucky for me it was only 3 questions to it so I finished in no time.

Then shoved it back in my folder before putting everything back in my book bag. My logic was that I would make it look like I didn't do it just now  so I would take it out like I already did it at home.

When the bell finally rung the teacher walked in, and immediately spoke about the homework.

"Ok class I hope you all did your homework because this is your first grade of the year." He spoke

"I will collect the homework and then take attendance. Actually Shawn collect the homework for me." He said

"Ard bet." I got up pulling up my pants as I walked from my desk picking up peoples paper. Even if they were writingon it. Only because I'm just that petty.

When I was done I handed him the papers and sat back down. When I was walking back I heard him shuffling through the papers.

"So only one person did the homework?! So you do know all of y'all are getting 0's except Shawn right?" He said and everyone was silent.

"The least y'all could've done was try and do it in here!" He said with a sigh

"So I see the type of class this is going to be." He nodded his head sitting down at his desk.

"When I call your name come up and come get your paper." He said typing something up on his computer.

"Reese...Brandon...Kate..."

He went on, and on with the name calling until he got to me.

"Shawn." He spoke with a more enthusiastic voice.

I hopped up going to his desk.

"Shawn you are already setting a good example for the rest of the class keep it up and thank you." He smiled and I smiled back nodded my head.

When I turned around everyone was looking at me salty. I smirked and shrugged my shoulders before going back to my desk.

"Now right now everyone except Shawn's paper should look alike. On everyone else's paper there is a 0, and a signature line. If you get it signed by your parents and it's done by tomorrow then you can get half credit." He spoke then sat down.

"I was going to do something fun today but that is canceled. Shawn I will let you do my fun activity with my 3rd period today so you can stay after if you would like." He said and I nodded my head taking my phone out texting Bey.
