Chapter 14

For the last two days I've been in the hospital. It's getting so boring but I'm happy because they said I may be able to leave today if they feel like I'm strong enough to do physical therapy.

Shawn, and Nicki has been here for the last two days after school. Also Mr. Simon came up to the hospital to apologize yesterday.

Flashback

There was a knock on the door while me and my mother were eating lunch. The door slowly opened and the mysterious person peeked his head in the room.

When my mother finally caught onto my face she immediately stood up.

"Oh! You have a lot of nerve showing up here! When did they let you out of jail?!" She yelled.

"No no no momma! He wasn't the one to push me down the steps!" I interjected

"Oh. Well I'm sorry please come in." She spoke softly to him before sitting back down and grabbing her food.

He slowly walked in. I knew he was shook, and a bit scared but he tried not to show it.

"So what brings you here."?" I asked him

"Well I felt like I owed you and apology. Although I didn't push you, or have him push you..I feel like this could have been avoided if I wasn't trying to be funny and closed the door on you knowing you were right there, not letting you in the classroom when you knocked on the door." He spoke and then paused

"So Beyoncé I truly do apologize for doing that to you and I will never do that again." He spoke sincerely

I softly smiled "I guess it's fin Mr. Simon."

"Also I'm exempting you from any work for the rest of the quarter." He said and I cheesed "you both have a nice day!" He spoke before walking out.

"Wait! Mr. Simon!" I called before he closed the door.

He slowly opened the door back

"Can you exempt me for fourth quarter instead?"

"...let me guess....the tests?" He asked and I nodded my head

"It's ok I will exempt you from those tests." He said and I nodded her for thank him. He smiled and walked out.

(A/N: I swear as I was writing his part I was speaking in his accent😭)

My mother looked at me and I smiled harder and she shook her head chuckling.

"Let me guess that's your algebra teacher?"

"Yes, that is my hardest class." I softly groaned before Nicki, and Shawn walked in.

"Why was Mr. Simon just here?" Shawn asked with a confused face and Nicki agreed

End of flashback

"That's crazy though I still can't believe Mr. Simon sat there and said we were going to have free period in his class for the rest of the week." Shawn said
