"Here you go Ango." Taako says as he gives the plate of food over to Angus and sits on the bed next to him. "Woah! Thank you so much sir! This looks amazing!" Taako smiles "Of course it does! Im Taako-"
"From TV!" Angus yells gleeful. Taako bursts out into laughter. "Thats right kiddo." Taako runs his hand through Angus' hair then gets up. He walks out the room and Magnus runs past him straight into Angus' room. "Ive got the cold rag!" He yells as he slowly places the cold wet rag on this boy's forehead. "That fells so much better. Thank you sir."
"No problem Ango! Anything for my sweet boy!" Magnus looks at the plate of food on Angus' lap and takes a strip of bacon and stuffs it in his mouth. "Shhhhh. You didnt see that."
" Okay sir." Angus replies in whisper. Magnus walks into the kitchen where Taako is cleaning the mess he made in the kitchen. Magnus begins to open all the cabinets. "Where do you keep the medicine?"
"Cabinet to your left. At the bottom." Magnus opens the cabinet and grabs some cough medicine. He takes a spoon from the counter and leaves. Taako decides to prepare the ingredients for the chicken soup he's going to make Angus later that day. He takes some chicken breats out of the fridge he put in a Ziploc and put them on a wooden cutting board. He chops them up into pieces and puts them back in the bag. He puts many different seasonings in the bag then shakes it up so it gets seasoned evenly. He puts the bag back in the fridge and washes his hands.
Hours last and Angus is beginning to get better. Kravitz still hasn't come home yet but Magnus is making the most out of the time he gets to spend with Ango. Taako, meanwhile, has been preparing the soup for Angus.
Angus walks into the kitchen where Taako is cooking. "Hello sir! Im a lot better! Let me help you.
"No. Go back to your room and rest. Your not fully recovered."
"You already made breakfast fio me. The least I can do is help you cook."
Taako puts down his utensils and turns to face Angus.
"The least you can do is listen to me. Now, off you go!"
Angus walks away. Before he leaves the kitchen, he turns around.
"Hey, Taako?
"Yes boy detective?"
"Thank you. For everything."
Taako smiles.
"I mean I couldnt let you die. I dont need a corpse. Now go to bed."
Angus smiles and skips off out of the kitchen and back into bed. Taako leans against the counter and looks up.
"That fucking kid. My God..." He chuckles and finishes the dish. He brings to Angus.
"This looks amazing! Thanks sir!!
Magnus leans in to the bowl of soup.
"Yeah, it looks great."
"Uh huh. Now enjoy it. Dont let Magnus take it cuz you know he will." Angus looks at Magnus for about 5 seconds and dives right into the bowl of soup despite how hot it is. Magnus pouts and looks at Taako.
"Got any leftovers?"
"Yeah. Oh dont tell me you want some! Im saving the rest for me and Death. Ive worked to hard today."
"Not before I get to it first!"
Magnus jumps up and sprints past Taako straight into the kitchen. Taako runs after him, though he wasnt fast enough. Magnus grabs the pot of soup and holds it close to him.
"You look ridiculous. Put the pot down you dunce."
"Over my dead body."
Taako realizes he is no match for this beefy man. He also doesn't feel like getting his umbrastaff and having a duel.
"Fine, consume it all. I give up."
"Hah!"
Magnus gets a spoon and spends a long time enjoying the soup Taako made. Taako lays down in bed, and when he wakes up, Kravitz is above him.
"Hello my love."
He leans in for a kiss. Taako head buds Kravitz.
"Dont you DARE kiss me you fucker!"
Kravitz smiles.
"I know im sorry. You did better than I thought today! Angus is feeling better. Also, Magnus told me to tell you the soup was great and that he's taking the rest to Merele."
Taako sits up and looks at Kravitz. He kisses him.
"Still mad at me?"
"God, of course I am but your still my husband. You can go now"
"Okay Ill leave you be. You deserve some alone time. Goodnight."
"Wait-Its night time!?"
Kravitz laughs.
"Yup. Bye."
"Damnit."
Taako drifts off to sleep.
