vacation

I'm currently at school in English class feeling so bored waiting for it to be over since it was Friday. It's almost my birthday my mom and dad have decided to take a trip to Greece I've always wanted to go there since i was a kid but my parents always said.

"not until you're a little older"
i never have understood why they say that and why now on my 18th birthday as the bell rings i jump out of my thoughts leaving them behind and smile headed to the door while telling my friends bye.

Even though It's only a 2 week vacation i get in my car and head home and playing music. After a 15 minute drive i pull into the garage my parents aren't the richest but i can say I do live comfortably. My mother is a flight attendant and my father owns 7 clubs spreaded across the country weird combination I know.

I unlocked the door and walked into the house the smell of dad's famous Alfredo pasta going up my nose and i almost moaned when i see my favorite bread sticks  

"Hey nugget how was your day?"  He greeted me while smiling at me. I low key hated it when he called me that and he knew it

"It was okay I'm just happy it's over"
i sighed out as i hung my jacket on the hook behind the door.

"how about you?"  i ask walking into the kitchen

"It was very good actually I just added more members to my team so that means more money for us" he said with grin hugging me in one arm kissing my head and stirring the pot.

"Ouuu it smells so good~" i say practically drooling he couldn't do anything but laugh

"It's almost ready go and get you're mom she's upstairs packing"

"Okay" i said bouncing up the stairs

"Momma the food ready!!" I yelled

"Alright!"....she yelled back from her room as soon as i opened my door i plopped down on my bed. My now frizzy deeply in need of a wash day tightly coiled hair falling all over the place. I grab my hair tie around my wrist and wrap my hair in a messy bun.
