An unexplainable zombie out...

All the articles were worth being swiped off, but the news headline caught my attention. I decide to open it up and check the report.

"Zombies: Who, When, and How"

Zombies are the green menacing creatures we all know about: from horror films to Halloween costumes, zombies are taking over.

That wording seems... fishy.

But now, it seems that it's gone very literal.

Reports of a zombie outbreak that started a few days prior to today have been circulating around the planet.

A few days prior? How did I not know anything about this?

Recent study suggests that the outbreak started in this city, and even though a few reports say otherwise, the general public continues to agree.

Here is a snippet from our interview with scientist Gyvan Hinker.
"Most say that this entire outbreak began from science.
We say that science has no proof if it really was because of it...

Gyvan Hinker. The name most, if not everyone, knows.

"...the people may have something to do with this, as it is unlikely that this started from science alone."

Scientists have no big leads on how to explain how this all began, and they think that the general public can help with that.

At the end of the report is a number you can use to call Mr. Hinker if you find any leads, big or small, that may drive the case in the right direction.

As if anyone's going to call. What do they want to do, drive the general public into full panic mode?

If only my parents could be here to help me comprehend the mess that's happening around us.

You see, my parents have both passed away. Tragic, I know.

My father died a few years prior, and my mom followed a month ago. I live here in our house, keeping its spirit and memories both safe and sane.

I turn off my phone and head outside.
