I Wished It Was A Dream. I Wished It Was All A Nightmare, I would wake any second now and will find Alex beside me camping.

It Was Not
I had Many powers, If I concentrate on what I want I could Summon it. I had healing powers,Water powers,Teleportation but it needed practice, A lot Of Practice. In our kingdom, People were given training from when they were kids. In my case, I didn't. My kingdom was Attacked and everything got destroyed.

The Woods felt dark, A feeling of loneliness and sadness washed over me.
No Birds chirped. The wind felt like Toxic, I found difficulty in breathing. I knew I was getting closer and I have to end it.

Then I reached my Destination and...
I froze,
What I saw in Front of Me was Horrifying
Towns burned, People lying dead, children were dead.So much bloodshed.
If I didn't stop it then the whole world—
No, I HAD to stop it, I Needed to stop Her.
As the walk through the town. People helping each other, People grieving for their Family.

Before I could blink once, a weak scrawny child covered in soot fell on the ground with a thud, conjuring up a cloud of dust around his lifeless body.

A blood curdling scream pierced through the grave night. Through my peripheral I noticed a mother running towards the fallen child, slamming her chest. She was soon before him, just as the killer beast walked away transforming into his real self - human.

"No!No!No!"she screamed hugging her battered son, and I could do nothing but put a hand on her shoulder. Tears welled in my eyes thinking about Alex.

If only he were here. If only he had my powers. He would never let this happen.

What would he do if he were here? What would he have done differently if he had the powers.

He would have fought back. He would have done something, anything to help these people.

I got up and walked to the centre of town, with a voice ringing crystal clear in my mind.

"You are as strong as you think you are!" my Father told me that as a child. He would tell me that every time I lost a duel, every time I cried on his chest saying that I am weak.

You are strong Vanessa! You are strong! You are powerful! I kept chanting standing in the centre of the wreck my arms protruded on my sides.

I closed my eyes and imagined a ball of white light growing in my chest spreading all around my body, like tides of the ocean, to the tips of my finger.

"Oh great spirits of the fallen heroes! Help me! Give me the power to heal the injured! Help me heal them!" I chanted this over and over again, screaming sometimes. I expected the weight of thousands of souls in my body. I expected the white light to extend out of my fingers. None of that happened.

"Please help me!" I screamed falling to the ground, tears rolling down my cheeks.

"Don't give up V!" Alex's voice ringed in my mind. He told me that when I couldn't solve a sum.

I sniffed, wiping my tears, standing with renewed confidence. I took a deep breath, closing my eyes, before imagining the light. This time i relied upon my emotions to give me energy.

My faith was upheld when I felt energy leaving my body, and heard people gasping. My body felt heavier, more tired as I let more of my energy out for help.
