A horrific scream had emerged from my mouth. I couldn't control it. This couldn't be happening. Xanadu couldn't be dead...
But before I could reassure myself, Jade and Cochineal came to my location.
"What's going on in- HOLY SHIT!" Cochineal yelled.
"No... Our fears have come true..." Jade said, her gaze fixed on the dead body in front of her.
The rest of the group came in, along with Rose and Chestnut, with Chartreuse being last, most likely from using the bathroom. We then heard a bell, with the same music from the other days. Then, MonoHue came up on the monitor.
"Huzzah! A body has been discovered! Now then, after a certain amount of time has passed, our Trial can begin!"
We began investigating... This is what fate had in store for us. We will avenge Xanadu. But who could his killer be?
After gathering evidence, we heard an announcement from MonoHue.
"Ok ladies and gents! Head to the green door on the first floor please!"
The monitor clicked off. We headed to where the door was and opened it.
