The Queen and her

Chapter 4

Alex slowly pointed out rooms in the palace, and showed piper around. Piper found it all so beautiful and keenly asked questions Alex easily answered.

They were about to go into another hallway when Alex stopped and turned to go down the stairs. "Not down that hallway. One of my rules, never, EVER, go down there. It's private. Clear?" Piper felt intimidated and nervous at this side of Alex she hadn't seen before, but quickly nodded. Yet, Piper was wondering what was down there.

Pipers PoV:

We nearly finished the tour, and it was around lunchtime, but I was still too scared to say anything. The Queen was also taller than me, and visibly had much more muscle, which made Piper feel even more weak.

Finally, I assumed we arrived at our destination.

"My favourite room, the library. You're allowed to go in here any time between 7am and 7pm." Alex acted more coldly when maids or servants were nearby, Piper noticed.

Piper looked and it was breathtaking. Three floors of endless shelves with books, there was also chairs and tables, comfy nooks to read in.. this was pipers heaven.

"Would it be possible to take a few books out?"
Piper timidly asked, still taking in the world of literature.

Alex POV: "Yes" Alex replied, and gestured for piper to look around. Piper eagerly scattered off, looking at shelves, picking up books and reading the blurb. Alex sat in a chair and watched the blonde, who eventually came back to Alex with so many books in her arms she couldn't see her head.

It was cute to see how passionate piper is about books, and as a bookworm herself, she was excited at the thought of the possibility of being able to talk to someone about books.

"Can I go put these in my room?" Piper asked, struggling with the weight of all the books.

Alex grabbed some of the books so she could see the cute blondes head, and took the books in her arms. "Yes" Alex replied, and without saying anything, they walked off to Pipers rooms. Piper was walking ahead of Alex, seeming more and more confident by the second.

Alex enjoyed watching pipers hips move as she walked, and slightly regretted not having sex with the girl straight away.

They plopped pipers new book collection onto Pipers sofa, and piper said "thanks for showing me around. I really appreciate it Alex. You've got such a wonderful home.. I think I have lots of reading in my future!" She giggled.

Alex loved hearing her giggle. It was adorable, and made Alex want to cuddle the girl. Somehow the girl seemed perfect to Alex.

Alex was about to ask piper some more questions when a maid came rushing in.

"What is it?" Alex growled, angry she was interrupted.

The maid took a few steps back and started to tremble. But curtsied. "Your Majesty, a emergency meeting has just taken place, you need to be there immediately. Another maid informed me you were in here.

"Very well" Alex got up and clasped her hands together. Furious she now wouldn't be with Piper for the rest of the day. "Let's go, move it."

Alex was about to walk out the door when she turned around.

"Piper, a list will come here soon saying what you can and can't do. There's a ball tomorrow evening in one of the buildings on palace ground. You are my date and need to come with me, a dress will be picked out for you, just letting you know"

Piper nodded and looked away, and Alex took that as her moment to leave.

A few hours later, Alex was still in the emergency finance meeting. All problems were solved, and Alex was growing impatient with remaining there whilst she could be with.. Piper.
