imagine 6: when your brother and boyfriend are walking towards you

You were a hunter and  Matt already told you  that he was a hunter as soon as he figured it out. Jeremy your boyfriend also told you that he was a hunter. 2 weeks ago you, matt and Jeremy were on a hunt for a vampire that killed a mother and her daughter, except the vampire who  killed the mother and the young girl, attacked you from behind. Jeremy saved your butt by shooting an arrow out of his cross bow killing the vampire instantly. 

Y/N pov : 

i currently just finished my shift at the grill and i was now having something to eat while i waited for Jeremy and Matt to finish their shifts. it was a few minutes after i had finished eating that i saw Jeremy and Matt walking beside each other with serious facial expressions (like gif in media above).

they walked towards me and sat down. "so there's this job we need to go on and its to save Bonnie" Matt told Jeremy after reading a text message. "great we should get back to the house and get ready" i said  "your not coming on this one babe" Jeremy said raising his eyebrow "wait what why not?" I asked looking between both boys.

"Because last time you nearly got killed if Jeremy wasn't there U would have been dead" Matt said " are you kidding I had it under control until that vampire came out of no where, besides who's gonna save your butts if something happens?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

" We will have each other's backs" Jeremy replied. "Lets go Jeremy we need to get set up" matt said they both got up I stood up as well. Matt hugged me and walked back to his truck.

Jeremy went to kiss me but I turned my cheek. " Babe don't be like that Matt and I just want to make sure your safe" Jeremy said " whatever, just go" I replied turning around picking up my bag and walking down the street towards Elena's house.

At Elena's house

" Wait so your mad because your brother and boyfriend are trying to protect you?" Elena said " no I'm mad because they don't get that I'm a hunter as well and that I can protect myself" I replied running my fingers through my hair.

Just then Jeremy,Matt,Bonnie,Stefan all walked in Elena checked on Stefan, Bonnie and Jeremy. Matt walked over towards me " we need to talk" I nodded and we walked out side towards his truck.

" Don't be mad at Jeremy he is trying to protect you and I know that his heart is in the right place he wants to make sure that he doesn't loose you y/n he's already lost so many people that he loves he doesn't want you to be added to that list". Matt said resting his hand on my shoulder I kept quiet for a moment thinking about what Matt just said.

"I know but I'm not a fragile girl Matt I've been through heaps of shit and I'm still breathing the other night only happened because I did see the vamp hiding in the trees I killed the first one not realising that there was a second vampire, I gotta go" I walked past Matt and started walking down the street.

I decided to walk towards the woods where Vicki's grave was. I sat there thinking about what Matt said and why Jeremy acted like that. I get it I mean Jeremy's worries that I may be the next one he loves to go.

I was staring at the ground while I played with my fingers it's a nervous habit. Matt's right I shouldn't blame Jeremy if it was the other way around I would have been worried about him too. I was about to message Jer when my phone died.

I got up and left going back to my place. I walked in to see Matt sitting on the couch " hey Matt" I said he snapped his head up at me and stood up so fast and hugged me. " Where the hell have u been?" He asked pulling away from the hug " I went and saw vicki, why what's wrong?" I asked " nothing Jeremy and I were worried about you, you weren't answering your phone" "I'm so sorry my phone died, where's Jer?" I asked Matt looked at me and pointed to my room.

I ran into my room to see Jer sitting on my bed with his head in his hands " Jer, I'm so sorry" I said he looked up at me and stood up. He pulled me into him and held me so tight. "My phone died I was about to text you when it's died" I said as I burried my head into his chest " it's okay" he said as he kissed my forehead.

" For now on if one of us goes on a job all of us go on a job" Jer said I just nodded " I'm sorry for being mad about not going on That job but after Matt and I spoke he made me realise that you were right, I wasn't paying attention when that vampire was about to attack me and he could have killed me but he didn't because you were there" Jeremy looked at me " it's okay I guess I was a little overprotective but that's because I don't want to loose you"

Jeremy and I kissed " so Netflix and junk food?" He asked after he pulled away from the kiss. I just nodded.
