Chapter 16: Nature child

Harith POV

I asked if anyone wants to follow me and irithel to the forest.

"Nope gonna stalk my sis."(Harley)

"I am gonna follow Zilong and Freya for supper."(chang'e)

Diggie and cyclops shake their heads.

"Sorry! I have to wash those dishes."(Angela)

"I can! Anyway miya and alucard is discussing with Natelia and tigreal about the preparation."

That sentence comes out from nana.

I nodded.

In the forest

We followed irithel into the forest,and of course to her hut.

"Welcome welcome, don't mind the mess around you."

The hut is decorated with colourful flower, and some vines sticking out of it.

"its better than what I expected...."(nana)

Leo then started to purrs.

"I know I know, your dinner is coming, do you want to come and see how I get food for Leo?"

Both of us nodded.

Irithel then took out her crossbow and started to shoot the sky.

Birds drop down instantly from the sky.

"It's pure magic.... how could you do this without looking?"(Harith)

"Practice makes perfect."

Nana and I both took the birds that irithel just shot.

"Leo come here!"

Leo came running to it.

"Come both of you, feed Leo."

Nana hesitated for awhile.

"I am scared that he will bite me."

"Come lets do together."

I hold her hand and shake it near to Leo.

And a second later it's gone.

"Good leo."

Both of us did this repeatedly till there isn't any more birds.

We then enter irithel hut.

"Finish?"

"It was quite a fun experience."(Harith)

"I made something for you two."

"Tuna and salmon!"(nana)

"I caught it just now, fresh as ever."

"Thank you for the meal irithel."(Harith)

"No problem, later i will bring you somewhere."

"Sure."

After supper/dinner

"Full?"

"Yep."(Harith)

"Let's go."

Irithel whistled and Leo came,then pull us up to Leo and we go.

"Where are we going?"(nana)

"To the inner forest, to meet belerick."

"Who?"(Harith)

"The guardian of this forest and protect the weak, he wants to see you."

The inner forest

The forest looks beautiful, a sense of nature went through me.

"Belerick they are here."

I don't see anything, it just a pile of land infront of me, then something emerged from the ground.

It's it.

A majestic beast rose up.

"Sorry for the entrance."

"It's so cool!"(nana)

I stare at it, he looks like a nature monster but I feel good energy flowing around him, it a good monster.

"You know why you are here today?"

"I don't know."(Harith)

Then nana fell onto me, I tried shaking her but it was no use.

"Stop it, she will wake up soon, you will make it even worse."

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!"

"It won't hurt her, she is just tired and lost some magic energy,so I forced her into her slumber."

I touched nana face, she did well the past few days, she deserved this rest.

"And another reason that I forced her to sleep is to discuss on something."

I can already feel that something bad is coming out from belerick.

"I can sense that the leonin clan is declining in a rapid speed....I am afraid that the abyss lord might have forced every leonin magic energy out, most of them might have already pass on...."

I drop to the ground, was I too late.....

"Did they find out anything out about the forbidden magic?"

Belerick stayed slient for awhile, then.

"No, your ancestors created a spell that needs two artifacts to unlock the magic."

I brought out my scroll and my keys.

"Yes,it's them."

"How do I unlock them?"

"This is only the furthest I can give you already, the rest you have to figure out yourself."

"Harith, you will one day know it, it's your destiny."(Irithel)
