Chapter 4: A deal with the devil
Finally it was the end of the day and the corridors were once again filled with loud and obnoxious teenagers, but unlike yesterday. I wasn’t under the radar. They no longer see me as just a simple nerd but a bitching hooker.
I had decide that I need to confront Nick as soon as possible, because if for some strange and completely gobsmacking reason, he agreed. I would have longer to ‘learn’ his ways and hopefully get everyone to leave me alone for good.
After insisting that Ethan and Kenzi go home, because I had to do this by myself, this is true. Because if they come with me Nick and his friends might think that I have told them about last night.
So now I was scurrying along with the crowd, trying my best to stay unnoticed and even now the whispers and pointing hadn’t dulled. I managed to make it out into the car park, without being interrupted.
I was now taking slow steps towards the corner of the car park, where Nick and all of the bad boys hangout before and after school. I slid down and sat on the floor, my back leaning against the brick wall.
If I knew the bad boys, then they would probably have a detention as they do almost every day, so I was going to be waiting a while for Nick to show up. So with that I texted Mayce saying that I would be home later than usual and waited.
By the time all of the cars had left the school car park apart from a few, and there wasn’t a student in sight only my light breathing to fill the silence. Everything that had happened in the last two days came crashing down on me.
My head began to pound and I felt a wave of tiredness wash over me. My eyes began to flutter and before I knew what I was doing I was resting my eyes, the soothing whistle of the wind, lulling me to sleep.
“Well if it isn’t Little Rebel” an unbelievable sexy voice taunted.
I furrowed my brow slightly as my eyes shot open, to be met with the most gorgeous grey smouldering eyes, which make any girl weak at the knees. I rubbed my eyes quickly and pulled myself up onto my feet.
“I err …” I trailed of nervously, unsure of what I was actually going to say to him.
He smirked mischievously and it was clear that he was enjoying making me squirm. “What, not been kicking the shit out of any bins lately?” he teased, casually leaning against the wall beside me.
I frowned at the floor “No” I mumbled shyly, making him chuckle at my clear discomfort.
“So what are you doing waiting here, huh?” he asked cocking his head to the side, making him look even sexier. God stop ogling at him and ask already.
I ran my fingers through my hair and bit my lip as I looked down at the floor “I err, I actually came here to, erm talk to you …”
His smirk grew even wider “Oh yeah? And what exactly do you need to talk to me about?”
He advanced towards me, so my back was against the wall and his hands were at either side of my head, caging me in. With every breath he took, his firm chest pressed against mine making me shiver.
“I-I-I err. I was wondering … Well erm, if you haven’t noticed things haven’t been going so well for me lately. So I was erm, wondering if we could make a deal.” I stuttered, looking anywhere but his eyes.
He leaned in and placed his lips to earlobe, his breathing fanning against my neck as he whispered “And what might this deal be?”
I gulped as my eyes snapped shut, when he began to gentle slide his lips against the skin of my neck as a barely noticeable caress. I knew he was messing with me, but I couldn’t bring myself to tell him to stop.
