I seen Maddie leave the room and so did I . If she kept her mouth shut so would I .

She walked down the stairs first and everyone smiled at her . Dylan looked at her confused , he knew she was crying. Then it was my turn to walk down the stair case . As I walked down they all gasped. "Wow" Dylan said . "See I told you" Mason to Ashton . Ashton grabbed my hand . "You look stunning" he said taking my hand . "Thank you , you look good" I said looking at his suit . "Come on" Mason said running out . "Maria you look lovely" I said to her.

"Thank you dear" she smiled as she chased after Mason . "I heard a thud from upstairs, is everything okay" he asked curiously . "Yeah the mirror fell" I explained. Total lie , I actually pushed Maddie onto the ground but who's telling .

I looked over at Maddie and Dylan looked at me shocked. Yeah ,she told him . He scowled at me. I avoided eye contact. Dylan wrapped his arm around her shoulder . They were more like friends to be honest . Ashton looked at me . He could tell I was worried . "What's wrong" he asked as I climbed into the limo .

"Just don't leave me tonight okay" I said to him . "Never" he said as he kissed my cheek . I smiled at him .

The car ride was long silent and awkward.

When we pulled up there was tons of people going in . "Woah" I said nervously. "I know , it wasn't an under statement when I said every one of the leaders were here" Ashton said to me as we looked out the window . We held hands and intertwined fingers . "Now when we get in here , I might change" he said truthfully. "I'm a mafia leader now , I have to put on my dominant side" he said .

"Some of my friends will be here , you can make friends with their girls if you want , or stay with me , I don't mind" Ashton said looking at me . "Now we all play a game but you won't be included" Ashton said . "Why not" I asked him . "Because it's not a good game and I know you would win" he said shrugging .

Ashton got out and helped me out . Dylan didn't help Maddie out . Ashton twirled me around and I giggled . "You are gorgeous" he said grabbing my waist and pulling me close to him . "I haven't forgotten about promise" he whispered in my ear , winking as he turned around .

"We're going to a hotel after by the way" he said. "I thought we should get a break" he said. I smiled to myself and he saw .

Everyone was already inside . "Why do we have to wait" I asked Ashton curiously. "Being the biggest Mafia comes with- well you will see" Ashton said wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling my closer to him protectively .

"Guys are going to try get you alone , don't you dare go with them , understood" he said demandingly . I nodded . "Never" I smiled at him . He smiled back and suddenly the two massive doors opened into this massive ball room .

"The Carters" a man announced and everyone bowed to show respect. "Woah" I whispered to him . "Stand" Ashton yelled scaring me . "Continue" he yelled again .

They all went back to talking . "Hey man" a guy said coming up and hugging Ashton . "Liam" he laughed happily .

"Oh my god , he brought a date" he said as he had his arm around Ashton's shoulder . "You got a fucking beauty" Liam said messing up Ashton hair . "Hey" I snapped fixing his hair . "You can do whatever you want to him , just don't touch his hair" I said . "Feisty" he smirked at Ashton .

"You'll have to watch no one tries to grab her" Liam said . "Speaking of which , Where's my girl" Liam said looking around . "Ah , Lisa come here" Liam said . Lisa walked over . "Hi Mr, Carter , I'm Lisa" she said . "Hi Lisa" Ashton said before turning his attention back to Liam . I looked around . People were staring at me .

"The game is starting" Lisa said . "What no , not yet" Ashton said angrily . "Why what's wrong" I asked him . "Now your in the game , shit" he said running his hands through his hair stressfully.

"What's the game" I asked Lisa . "They say who has the best looking girl basically, they rate the lowest to highest" she explained . "That's horrible , why would they do that" I asked her confused. "Dominance I think" she laughed . "It's so stupid" she laughed . "It's like showing there alpha male" Ashton said . "But he is actually alpha male" Liam said signaling to Ashton .

I looked across the room to see Mason fighting with his friends . "Leave them" Ashton grabbing my hand . "What why" I asked frantically. "Because they need to learn" he said . I watched as Mason climbed on the kid and started punching . Ashton smiled proudly.

"Number 200 is shelia micheals" the announcer spoke and they all laughed since she was the lowest . Shelia looked upset . She was beautiful, now I was worried .

"Number 50 is Maddie heist" the announcer spoke and people cheered . Maddie looked so happy as she looked at me . Yeah there's no way I'd get higher than 50 , I'm probably in .

"How do they know" I whispered to Lisa who stood beside me . "The guys vote on the way in , did you not see them" she said confused. "No" I said . "They write the girls name down on a slip of paper and put it in" she said . "Oh" I said remembering Ashton had a slip of paper in his hands .

"Number 23 is Lisa White" . She looked at me amazed . "It's the highest I've ever got before" she shrieked happily . I watched her get her flower which had a piece of paper around it that said 23 . We all cheered . "That's my girl" Liam screamed . I laughed and smiled at Ashton as Liam cheered . "Number 5 is Angelica Monti" the announcers voice boomed through the room grabbing everyone's attention.

"Wow imagine being that high up" I said . "It'd be a dream" Lisa said . "Your number one to me" Ashton winked at me . I smiled and blushed . "He really likes you , it's weird, he hated his fiancé" she laughed . "Yeah she was bitch" I said truthfully.
