You don't know me. You don't know my story, not all of it anyway. No one knows my story. Mainly because it's never been told before.

Everyone knows him. Everyone knows his story. The story of Alexander Hamilton. The story of one of the Founding Father's of America. The story of my older brother.

Everyone knows of his legacy. But what about mine? What's my story?

Well, your about to find out, just, keep reading. This is my story.

The story of the other Hamilton.

The story of the female Hamilton.

The story of Alexander Hamilton's little sister.

The story of Y/N Hamilton...

My brother and I used to live on a small island in the Caribbean, with our mother and father. When I was 9, my father left, leaving my mother to pay his debts.

However, two years later, my mother and my brother got sick. Really sick. I had to look after both of them, for I didn't get sick.

My brother, Alexander, recovered after a few weeks, however, our mother did not, and she passed away only a few days later. We then had to go and live with our cousin.

However, he couldn't deal with looking after us, that's what Alexander said anyway, and he committed suicide, leaving us alone, with no money and with no home.

My brother began to work for my late-mother's landlord and when he was 14, he started trading things that we couldn't afford, like rum and sugar canes.

I began to read books, lots of books. Mainly books about nursing and the human anatomy. I decided that I was going to become a nurse one day, and help save the lives of other people around me.

However, when I was 13, many terrible things began to happen to me, things that my brother still doesn't know about me.

My late-mother's landlord began to beat and torture me, and later on, he began to sexually torment me, in ways that I don't want to explain. I began to pray for nearly a year that I was not carrying that... monsters child.

My brother and I managed to save enough money, and now, we are standing on a ship which is headed to our new home in America. A small apartment in New York City to be exact.

I can finally become a nurse and start a new life, away from my late-mother's landlord. I know that he cannot hurt me anymore.

I'm ready to fight against the British and win freedom for America, and for the black people of my home.
