It was midday on a Tuesday. Exactly a week ago had been the Academy Award announcements. During the past week, Willa had heard little from Margot but she understood that the actress would be busy and that being in a relationship with someone as famous as Margot Robbie just meant waiting on the sidelines for any free moment that Margot would have. And Willa was okay with that. She sometimes just had to be.

Sitting in her apartment, Willa was eating her lunch while on a break from work downstairs. Archie was downstairs minding the store so she was all alone. She had music playing softly to fill the void of silence through the room as sat at the kitchen counter, eating a grilled cheese sandwich she had made and sipping at her coffee.

A knock at the front door was what truly surprised her. She hadn't ordered anything online lately and if she did, it would be delivered to the store rather to the apartment and she knew that no one was coming over today as everyone was busy with work. So leaving her half eaten sandwich and almost empty coffee mug on the counter, she went to answer the front door. As soon as the door swung open and before she could get out the words to greet them, she was met with arms hugging her tightly.

"Margot? What're you doing here?" Willa said as she put her arms around the woman who was hugging her on her doorstep.

Margot let go of her girlfriend and beamed at her. "I'm in New York for a couple of days. I have to go to Los Angeles later in the week for work but I have a few days off before I have to be there so I thought I'd come by and spent some time together." She gestured towards the car parked next the sidewalk behind her. "I literally came straight here from the airport and hoped you'd be here rather than in the store."

"It was the perfect time for you to catch me really as I'm on my break right now." Willa pulled out her phone from the back pocket of her jeans to check the time. "I have like ten minutes left though so we can't really do much right now, sorry."

"When do you finish? We could hang out tonight. Maybe get some dinner or just go out somewhere." Margot asked. She was just enthusiastic about spending time with Willa that doing anything with her would suit her perfectly.

"We close up at about half past five so maybe come around after six. We could figure something out from there." Willa said.

Margot continued to beam and this time, her grin was brighter than before. She then glanced towards Willa's lips and bit her lip. "I really want to kiss you right now." She whispered. Looking around the streets outside she then stepped forward so Willa would have to back up into the apartment. She then quickly put her hands on either side of Willa's face, cupping the brunette's cheeks as she laid a kiss on her lips. It was short but it was clearly filled with desperation and a need for their lips to touch, even if it was for a short moment.

Willa, who felt a little dizzy from such a short but passionate kiss, stepped back when the kiss was done. "Well, I guess I'll see you tonight then."

"I look forward to it." Margot said as she stepped out of the apartment. She went down the couple of steps to the front door and waved as she stepped back into the car that would drive her off to her hotel.

Watching Margot get into the car, Willa saw the blonde wave one last time before closing the car door behind her and the car moving away from the curb. The comic book store owner's eyes stayed on the car as went off the street and once it had gone off around a corner, Willa finally decided to head inside the apartment to finish her lunch up and get back down to the store.
