Joe laid with his arms draped around his beautiful wife of 7 years Thea Sugg. Her head was placed delicately on his chest, moving in sink with the rhythm of his chest. Her fingers tangled messily with his as they laid peacefully together on their sofa.
Thea, Like she had been for the past 6 months, was heavily pregnant with only a couple weeks left to go before they welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world.
" as much as I really would love to just stay here like this with you for the rest of the day..." Thea began trailing off slightly as she played with Joes wedding band on his finger trying to avoid the dreaded words she had fought with for several moments.
" But I really do need to leave. I'm meeting the girls in town for a meal. I haven't seen them for a while" she explained with sad doe eyes as she gently stood up, being assisted by joe of course considering she could hardly support her own weight anymore due to the baby growing inside her.
"Fine but at least let me drive you?" Joe insisted speaking softly as he began collecting his jacket and car keys from the kitchen unit next to him.
Thea, exhausted from all her sleepless nights, just needed some peace and quite away from Joe. No matter how much she loved him she just needed some time for herself with her friends.
"No...babe we'll be fine I promise. Nothings going to happen to me or our baby in the span of 4 hours. I promise I'll call you the second that I meet up with the girls.." she explained before kissing her beautiful husband passionately and exiting their lovely 4 bedroom home.

Thea had only gotten a few miles onto the highway before she began to feel her eyes dropping shut. Every second that her eyes remained open was like torture. She wanted nothing more than to just fall asleep for once. To just have a decent sleep without the baby waking her up, with a couple dozen kicks to the stomach, in the middle of a peaceful slumber. Before Thea was able to prevent the next few moments from happening, her eyes drifted shut and within a millisecond her car had swerved into ongoing traffic before being bulldozed into a field by a van which had been travelling in the opposite direction.

A couple hours later
"Clear!" A male doctor instructed as he pulled two shock pads from either side of Thea and pressed them to her chest in one quick swoop before pulling them away from her chest almost immediately after.
"Nothing...." the doctor informed before allowing the nurse involved to continue CPR for only a few seconds before he instructed everyone to clear again, shocking her. But.....once again there were no results.
"Please Thea...Don't leave me...not yet.....Don't leave me alone....I can't live without you." Joe sobbed loudly beside his dying wife, her hand locked firmly in his grip, struggling with all his strength to keep on fighting for her. To keep himself together for her...

Another 5 minutes went by painfully slow before a young doctor, maybe a few years older than Joe, spoke.
"Call it?" He asked the other doctors who had accumulated into the room moments ago.
"No..." Joe whispered to himself as several tears snuck their way out of his eyes.
" please don't let her die......please she's carrying our daughter....try something she can't be gone. Thea's a fighter she can't be dead!" He yelled barely above a whisper due to the golf ball sized lump that had placed itself in his throat.

Deciding he couldn't take another second of the heart break, Joe raced out of the hospital room and into the waiting room where he forcefully sat down smashing his head into his hands and sobbing.
"Mr Sugg?" A women called making Joe jolt from his previous position he had been in.
" I'm sorry but your wife didn't make it... she suffered several injuries to her chest, along with internal bleeding which may have caused her body to shut down automatically..." she began before trailing off seeing Joes face turn into one of total utter brokenness. This was an expression Joe had never though he would need to use. He never, not even for a second, thought that his wife would be stolen from him this dramatically. They had a whole life to live with their daughter. But that was gone. All of it was gone.
" our baby......... she's gone too?" He asked terrified of the answer that was about to be given to him.
The nurse took a deep breath before beginning to speak once again
" we managed to preform an emergency C-section on your wife moments after her passing. Although she has suffered from instant trauma, your baby daughter is fine. She's in the intensive care unit right now if you want to see her..." she explained waiting curiously for the mans answer. He had just witnessed his own wife die no wonder he was taking a while to answer her previous question.
Deciding against speaking anymore since he didn't trust his own voice not to break, Joe stood up gesturing towards the nurse to guide him to his daughter.

The second Joe laid eyes on his precious baby girl he knew instantly that he had to look after their little girl for the both of them. He had to be this baby's mother and father figure all in one. All on his own with no help what so ever. This was going to be the most challenging thing in his life. But joe was up for this challenge. He wasn't ready to raise her all on his own...not at all. In fact, he wanted nothing more than to just wake up from this nightmare. But that wasn't going to happen. He had to stay strong for his little girl. He just had to stay strong for Ava Sugg.

End of part 1
So by the time this goes out I should have just posted the 6th chapter to my adopted by joe and dianne sugg fan fiction. If I haven't then I'm incredibly sorry for the disappointment 😭. I've been incredibly busy with everything and just haven't had to time nore the strength to write anything. However I did get this idea quite quickly and defiantly needed to act on it before I completely forgot about it which normally happens. Although I am writing this on the 23rd of February, I have completely no idea when I'm actually going to post this. It could never be posted but I hope I get the courage to post this soon 😊
