3- there's hope

Present day
It had now been 3 months since Thea's tragic passing, Ava, like she had be 3 months earlier, was still in the hospital. However, she was no longer in intensive care. Instead she sat calmly in a small cot perfect for her small size in the baby ward with her dad, Joe, sitting anxious beside her. After 3 months Joe has still not even touched his camera to make a YouTube video but he had at least informed Everyone about the terrible incident that had occurred just 3 months earlier. But now...he was finally ready to at least try and make a short update video.
Picking up his camera from the side Joe presses record, after checking on Ava almost 100 times though.
"Hi guys...."Joe began as re rubbed away the sleep in his eyes.
" So erm....as you should already know..my wife Thea.....she...she died 3 months ago and....sorry" for the first time in 3 months Joe broke down into a sea of tears. Deciding against the video he turned off his camera and sat down again next to Ava who was smiling and giggling up at him. She was finally getting better.
"Joe...."As Zoe walked in she saw the sheer brokenness of her brother. Without thinking she pulled him into a tight hug.
"I miss her so much..." Joe sobbed onto her shoulder. His heart was shattered. His wife Thea, the girl he promised he would spend the rest of his life loving, was gone, ripped out of his arms before he even had a chance to say goodbye.
"I know you do...but you've got to look after Ava now. You've got to be strong for her." Zoe comforted her younger sibling while looking over at her new niece who was still giggling and smiling over at them.
"I don't know if I can" Joe explained while trying to compose himself again which wasn't working as he continued to sob onto his sisters shoulder.
"Hey joe look at me....yes you can. You can be the dad that she needs. You can do anything Joe. It's going to be hard at first but Alfie and I are always here for you if you need us." She explained with a smile as she looked over at the door as a Nurse walked in.
" Mr Sugg. There's good news. Ava is able to be discharged whenever you're ready. She's shown great progress and we see no reason for Ava to stay with us any longer." The nurse explained before handing Joe the discharge forms and leaving once he had signed them.
"Zoe can we stay with you for a few days? I can't go back to the penthouse. Not yet." Joe asked curiously as he packed Ava's things and picked her up out of the bed she was in.
"Of course you can Joe. Ebony and David are staying with us as well for a couple days. They fingered it was better than going back home as they wanted to keep you company." Zoe explained while helping joe back to their car.

Dianne
"Marcus...you can't do this to me. You said this wouldn't happen!" Dianne sobbed into her hand while begging for her boyfriend of 7 years to stay with her. This argument occurred several times before over other petty arguments. But this time it was much worse.
" Do this to you?! Seriously Dianne? Why can't it once just be about my
Happiness huh?" Marcus began, swinging his arms in the process. For months he'd fought with the idea of funnily ending things with Dianne. But every single time he tried there would always be something that came in the way.
"Marcus...." before Dianne even got a chance to speak Marcus cut her off.
"No Dianne! Don't talk to me! Don't even look at me. I've had it with us. I don't want us anymore!" With that Marcus exited Their apartment leaving a broken Dianne in his wake. Not caring about anything anymore Dianne fell to the floor breaking down into tears. Her relationship was over. For good.
