"it sucks that we hardly have any classes together" Kate said as we were laying on her bed.

"Yeah, but at least we have culinary arts together, we get to make food" I said while I got up.

"That's true, but we've always had the same classes since, well ever" she pouted.

"Well, we are seniors" I reminded gher.

"I guess that explains it" she shrugged.

"Does it really?" I said in a joking manner.

"Shut up, jerk" she said shoving me into the wall and she walked into her closet.

I guess I hit the wall harder than I thought, because when I backed up something dropped. But when I looked up, it was a door that fell open.

Inside the wall there was a compartment, it held a cross bow, and a hang gun. The flap that fell open held a sheath of arrows that where silver tipped and silver bullets?

"What happened?" Kate asked looking at a t-shirt, but then she looked up and ran to close the door.

"Kate, what the hell is that?" I asked her trying to conceal that I was freaking out.

"Nothing" she said throwing the t-shirt into the closet.

"That didn't look like nothing, what the hell is up?" I asked her again, once i composed my thoughts.

She went and closed the door and went and sat at her bed.

"I'll tell you, but you can't tell anyone" she said after taking a deep breath.

"Ok" I replied as I sat next to her.

"Ok, so you might think I'm crazy but, what in about to tell you is true" she took another deep breath before continuing. "My family isn't your average family. My family have been werewolf hunters for generations"

"Wait, what?" I heard her clearly, and this was a giant blow to my head. I've been friends with a werewolf hunter for eight years, and I just found out!

"I'm a werewolf hunter" she said a little clearer.

"Since when?" I asked very confused and shocked.

"I was trained since I was twelve, and knew how to kill them, but remember Sean?" she asked.

"Yeah" I said with a raised eye brow.

"Well, the news reports said he was victim of a wolf attack, and they're right but, he was actually killed by werewolves and since then I've taken my training to a higher level" she said as she picked up the cross bow that was loaded.

"Wow, I would have never guessed, my best friend was a bad ass" I tried to play it off as if it was the greatest thing I've found out.

"I even learned signs to spot a werewolf too" she said playing with the crossbow string.

"Just like you" she said as she pointed the bow at my head.

"Very funny Kate" I said with a chuckle and at the same time. trying to stay calm.

"Come on, I know your a werewolf, and it took me a while to figure it out but, I did" she said with a little laugh before continuing. "When I asked you if you wanted to go to full moon gigs at the park, you always said you were busy, and then you would were sunglasses to school three days before a full moon, then the unmistakeable eye color change" she finished.

"Ok then, why didn't you kill me when you found out?" I asked her crossing my arms.

"Because, I thought if I kept you around long enough, you'd tell me about you being a werewolf yourself, and then you'd take me to meet your pack, that way, I could kill you all" she said walking towards me.
