She came ten nerve-racking minutes later. Any trace of the warmth she had shown him was gone.

"Hello, Mr. Loyal. You wanted to see me?"

"Yes, detective." He said. "I'd rather speak to you privately."
"Not a chance, Loyal!" The annoying policeman said. Dax grumbled for a few seconds then looked Alix straight in the eyes.

"I had a visitor."

Her eyes widened. "Already?"

"Yes. But before I tell you who it was, let me tell you something about myself. I'm terrified of mimes and clowns. It's a problem. A mime visited me today."

"Sure he did. I suppose he started blowing up a balloon-" The officer began to say.

"That's enough officer." Alix stopped him. The officer frowned. "A mime. Really?"

"Really. Look, Detective, I don't have any right to your trust ever again. But please, I just need one more chance! Let me prove to you that I'm innocent! Please!" He begged. Alix regarded him coldly. Then she turned around and started walking away.

"Detective! Detective! Alix, listen to me! Everyone is in danger! Alix!" He yelled. She shut the door.
