You just turned 17 and now you were allowed to trow a party! You invited all your friends and told them to take their friends with them.
and now today is the big day!!
The first guests came in around 9 o'clock and that's where your parents left the house for a romantic evening together. You turned on the radio and you and your friends started dancing.
You were just getting yourself something to drink when you heard a knock on the door, it was an old classmate. 'Heey, come on in!' You said as you opened the door fully. 'Hi (y.n.) happy birthday! oh look, I brought two friends with me, this is Paul and John is still over there.' Your friend pointed at a boy near her car across the street but you couldn't keep your eyes off of Paul. 'Hey paul,' you said. 'Nice to meet you.' 'Oh hi (y.n.)! I heard a lot about you, can I come in?' 'oh yeah sorry come on in.' your old classmate looked at John 'I'll go after John' she said as she run back to John who was talking to some random girls. You and Paul laughed 'typical John.' Paul said while he shook this is head. you laughed and asked 'do you want something to drink? The kitchen is here, I was going to get myself a drink too so I'll walk with you.'
'So,' you said as you got both of you some coke. 'You said you've heard a lot about me huh?' Paul laughed, 'yesyess, you seem to be a very nice girl!' You blushed 'there's only one way to find out! right?' You said. 'Dancing!' Paul held your hand and you both ran to the middle of the living room and started dancing. 'So what kinda music do you like?' Paul shouted above the music. 'I LOVE ELVIS PRESLEY!' I shouted back. Paul looked at me surprising 'ELVIS? That's a good one!' 'what about you then?' Paul pulled you closer and whispered in your ear 'sorry i couldn't hear you above the music' you blushed and said: what music do you prefer?' you asked again 'I kinda like the sound of your voice' Paul said with a wink and you laughed.
You and Paul danced the night away and before too long he fell in love with you.
'Paul? Paul! we have to go!' you heard john say. you suddenly felt sad, you had such a great time dancing with Paul and you knew it was gonna end soon but now it was 1am already and it felt like Paul just got here. time goes fast when you're having fun. 'Paul i don't want you to leave' you said. Paul gave you a hug and promised he'll come back soon. he didn't say when so you wasn't really sure whether to believe him or not but when he looked at you you knew he was gonna come back soon. you gave him another hug and then he whispered in your ear 'i'll miss you' and he made you blush again 'i'll miss you too please come back soon' 'i will' he said and waved at you while he walked up to john.
all you could do was hoping for him to come back soon.
