The year is almost ending and they decided to throw a karaoke party for admin employees. Another event was successfully done a week after their Christmas party. They held a company wide Christmas party and it was successful again, thanks to her and her committee.

Her other teammate, Lee Hani, arranged the party for everyone. It was in a videoke place and they're all excited to go.

They are currently walking towards the place and Kim Hanbin is walking farther from her, together with Lee Hani.

They are close too, and she asked him out twice already. They were friends but she couldn't help but get hurt since Hani knows that Miyoung likes Hanbin. Hani's also coaching Miyoung to ask Hanbin out but Miyoung couldn't do it because he's her boss and she didn't want to cross the line.

Miyoung really likes Hanbin. She likes his carefree attitude. He can be loud at times in the office but when he's serious, you have to be careful around him. Even though he's the CEO, he's really approachable. He makes sure that he interacts with everyone. They're always eating lunch together with others and they became closer because of it. He is really smart and hands on with her major tasks and she really appreciates him taking the time to teach her something new.

"Miyoung-ah." Jiwoo called her.

"Ne, unnie?"

"Let's do something about this. When we arrive there, make him sit beside you."

"Unnie, don't you think it's too obvious?" She asked her.

"Do you want him to sit beside Hani all night?" She argued.

"Ne, unnie. I'll make him sit beside me."

"That's the spirit!" Jiwoo clapped her back and giggled. Miyoung giggled back.

They greeted the receptionist when they arrived and they were assisted in their room. Hani arrived first in the room while Jiwoo and Miyoung arrived next.

The room was a small one but it can fit 15 people that attended tonight's event. It has a u-type couch and a table at the middle. There was a bathroom inside the room and a large TV with 2 speakers and 2 microphones as well. Hani sat at the left side of the room while Miyoung sat at the right side.

Others start to take their seats. Yunhyeong sat beside Miyoung and Jiwoo.

"Miyoung-ah." Yunhyeong called her.

"Ne, oppa?"

"Go stand in front."

"Waeyo?"

"Wait for him there." Yunhyeong grinned at her.

"How did you know?"

"Jiwoo." Yunhyeong pointed at Jiwoo while she laughed.

"Sorry, Miyoung-ah. Ppali, go wait for him there."

Miyoung stood there and talked with others as well. And long last, Hanbin and Jiwon arrived inside the room. They smelled of cigarettes. She sighed again, hoping that he'll stop smoking soon. But she couldn't do anything.

She didn't realize that she was staring at him until he smiled at her.

"Miyoung-ah, where are you sitting?" Hanbin asked her.

"I'm sitting beside Jiwoo unnie." She pointed at Jiwoo.

"Let me sit beside you, please." He patted her head and she nodded.

"Nice." Jiwon commented and grinned at the both of them.

"Sir!" Miyoung complained at him but she smiled a little.

As soon as Hanbin is settled on the couch, she sat beside him and started to appreciate the night.

And again, an event wouldn't be an event without drinking. So they kept on drinking all throughout the night.

Everyone was drinking, everyone was singing, and everyone was dancing. It was truly a celebration everyone will never forget.

Miyoung sat beside Hanbin again as she was done dancing with the other ladies in the dance floor.

"Having fun?" Hanbin asked her.

"Yes. How about you, sir?"

"Yes. I'm happy seeing you and everyone happy." He grinned at her and ruffled her hair.

"Hey..." She pouted as she arranged her messy hair. He laughed at her in response.

"Don't pout. You're really cute." He smiled softly at her.

Miyoung blinked. She couldn't believe what he told her so she drank from her bottle. She looked at him and he's talking with Yunhyeong beside him.

Jiwoo sat beside her and gestured for her to move so she moved closer to Hanbin. Jiwoo started to talk with Hanbin and Yunhyeong and Miyoung was responding to them from time to time. She didn't realize that they're sitting really close until she felt his leg move closer to hers. And this time, she's not panicking about it. She's getting more comfortable around him.

She was tipsy but she can still differentiate the beer from the butterflies in her stomach. Sitting closer together gives her butterflies – no, gives her tornadoes in her stomach.

"Miyoung-ah!" Hanbin called her while holding a beer.

"Yes, sir?"

"Don't call me 'sir' whenever we're outside work." He scolded her.

"What should I call you?" She asked.

"Call me 'oppa'."

"Oppa?" She repeated.

"Yes. 'Oppa'. Because I'm three years older than you." He smiled.

"Ne..." She trailed. "Hanbin oppa."

"Cheers."

"Cheers."

"Miyoung-ah! Time for you to sing!" Jiwon handed her the microphone while she shook her head furiously.

"It's okay. I don't sing well." She chuckled nervously.

"Don't worry! We won't judge!" Jiwon encouraged her.

"She's really good at singing! I heard her already!" Jiwoo joined the teasing.

"Unnie!"

"Miyoung-ah! Miyoung-ah!" Hanbin cheered for her and everyone joined him. Miyoung glared at him but he laughed at her instead.

"Ah, I know what you should sing." Jiwoo said and punched in the song.

"Unnie, this is a duet!" Miyoung complained when Friday by IU flashed the screen.

"It's okay, you can do it!"

The sweet melody from the guitar and piano was heard all throughout the room and she started to sing.

"You're good!" Jiwon said, shocked at her sweet voice. While Miyoung smiled at him. And yes, she knows how to sing but she's too shy to show it in the company.

And Jiwon being Jiwon, he gave the microphone to Hanbin without Miyoung knowing it. So when she heard Hanbin sing the bridge, she was surprised to hear his soft voice.

Everyone cheered at him while she looked at him widely. He encouraged her again to sing and hearing their blended voices made her heart pound again. This guy can really sing and she was shocked to hear him sing the first time.

They high fived each other after singing and sat beside each other again. They were laughing about the impromptu performance and Jiwon was teasing the both of them that since they're in an academy for singer aspirants, they should debut together.

And at that exact moment, she felt him put his arm around her. She looked at him, shocked at what he did. He smiled at her and pushed her to him. Jiwon saw what he did and teased them more.

"Miyoung-ah, Hani is glaring at the both of you." Jiwon whispered beside Miyoung and when she looked at her, she was really glaring at them.

She's getting worried about it but she held herself. Compared to the glare from her "friend," she would still prioritize her happiness. And her happiness is sitting beside her, arms around her, and taking care of her.
