6:00 in the morning. Miyoung woke up at 6:00 AM, dreading what's to come at 9:00 AM.
She busied herself by preparing for the day. She made a coffee just to get rid of her awful hangover. She purposely took a long bath to help her ease her emotions from last night.
It is Saturday, and she'll go to work. They are moving offices today so she volunteered to help, which she now regrets.
She doesn't want to see Hanbin today, after all what happened last night. She couldn't see him. She can't bear to see him.
Thank heavens that Yunhyeong is there to oversee the moving. She won't be completely alone with Hanbin.
She arrived in the office 30 minutes before 9:00 and she was the first to arrive. She immediately settled in her desk while waiting for the other two to arrive.
Miyoung was listening to music when she heard someone call her name. She prepared for the worst but when she turned around, she was happy to see Yunhyeong instead of Hanbin.
"Oppa, you're here."
"Good morning. How's your head?" He asked while patting her head as he passed by.
"Hangover. You?" She asked while seeing him sip from his cup of coffee.
"I really hate waking up early on weekends." He sighed. "Let me sit with you here. I'll get my laptop first."
"Ne, oppa."
She watched Yunhyeong enter inside the room and resumed what she's doing – listening to music, when she felt a tap on her shoulder.
She removed her earphones and was surprised to see Hanbin standing close beside her.
"Good morning." Hanbin greeted her with a smile.
"Ah, ne, good morning." Miyoung greeted awkwardly, hoping that Hanbin wouldn't notice how awkward she feels right now.
"How are you?" He asked her.
"I'm fine, you?"
"Good. Is Yunhyeong hyung already here?"
"Yes, he's getting his laptop."
"Okay. Let me work here with you two."
Miyoung nodded and Hanbin left her there. She feels so lost right now. How can Hanbin act that way? Did he forget what happened last night? She was truly devastated on what she saw and what he did to her.
She cannot forget how Hani leaned her head on her shoulders while Hanbin put his arm around her. She cannot forget when they almost kissed in front of her. She cannot forget the hurt she felt from Hani's betrayal and from Hanbin's actions.
Yes, they're not together. She can't feel this, but her feelings are still valid, right? She was so consumed with her thoughts that she didn't notice Yunhyeong sat beside her.
"Earth to Miyoung." Yunhyeong said while snapping his fingers in front of her face.
"Wae, oppa?" She asked him.
"What time did you leave last night?"
"I can't remember the exact time, but it was already late."
"Okay, Jiwon hyung told me you kept drinking when we left. What happened?"
"Ah, nothing much happened." She sighed. "I just needed a drink, that's all."
"Then why the long face?"
"How did you say so?"
"You look devastated. You also keep sighing from time to time."
"Let's not talk about it here, please. He might hear it."
