Kami 3: Removal

Kana's POV

1 year later. [so fast?!]

One day I was walking around because I heard rumours about the abandoned court in the inner side of the school. They said they hear thumping sounds so I decided to check it out.

*thump* *screech* *toink*

Isn't that a shoe sound? I walked more to see clearly. Then I found Kuro-chan practicing basketball.

"If it isn't kuro-chan!" I said and walked waster towards him.

"Kana-san?" He turned around and stopped.

"Keep going. I'll just watch here." I said and he nodded. He continued to dribble and shooting which it always miss. "Kuro-chan.."

"What is it?"

"Let's play one-on-one." I smiled.

"Sure." He said in his usual expression.

He was on offence while I was on defence. I did a defensive stance and he dribbled the ball. I stared intently at him and he rolled his eyes to the right and went in that direction but i quickly stole the ball from his left hand.

"Kuro-chan.."I called out. "Your eyes."

"Why?"

"Dattesa... Your eyes rolled to the right and you went to the right direction so I was able to steal the ball from you." I stated.

Kuro-chan's POV

Hmmm... She's right.

"I'll demonstrate it. You go on defence and I'm on offence." She said and I nodded.

She dribbled the ball with her right hand and then she looked at the left. I moved my body at my right but she moved to the other direction where her ball is.

"See?" She said "try shooting." I nodded. I did the shooting stance but it missed.

"Gomenasai." I said.

"Why are you apologizing kuro-chan?" She ruffled my hair a bit. I wonder how would she reacts of she saw her life span..

"I don't know." I said in my usual expression. "Ano Kana-san.."

"Nani?"

"Do you have an illness?" I asked bluntly.

"Yes. I do, Kuro-chan." She answered "Thats why I can't play basketball in a long time. If I do I will break down. I did it once and it was painful."

"I'm sorry for brining those painful memories back." I apologized

Kana's POV

"I'm sorry for brining those painful memories back." He apologized.

"It's okay! At least i have aprentices. Its fun teaching you guys basketball~" I said and he smiled. We continued to practice together everyday and the rumours got worse day by day.

One day Ao-chan came.

"So it was you guys?" He asked as he spun the ball on his finger.

"Yup!"

"Let me join in too~!" He said and we nodded. We trained Kuro-chan together to get better but no progress. We played in the 3rd string gym also and the coach there said that his ability is way too low and he needed to quit the team.

"I refuse such statement." Kuro-chan growled. Kuro-chan, Ao-chan and I are sitting on the floor of the gym.

"I know~" I sighed. "Let's play again!" I encouraged both of them and they nodded. It was 2 vs 1. Me with kuro-chan vs Ao-chan. Since Kuro-chan lacked presence Ao-chan can't find him and Kuro-chan always steals the ball. Without noticing Aka-chan, Midori-chan and Murasaki-chan watched us play.
