Strange Encounters.

Someone once told me that with love I can conquer the world that it strengths you when you feel weak and fills you with nothing but happiness and pleasure.

*Flashback*
Ancient Greece, 2,000 years ago
"Rosalia, Julius is here for you", Rosalia's mother called out as she waits patiently for her daughter.

"I'm coming mother", Rosalia responded as she raced to her mother panting heavily.

Her mother swiftly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled.

"Children tend to grow up to fast", her mother whispered sadly as Rose waved her goodbye.

Rosalia embraced her best friend Julius as they trodded off together to their favorite place in the whole world. Julius and rose were like two peas in a pod, he was the only person who truly looks out for her and even care for her.

Although her mother forbade her to accompany him, rose was always going to be there for Julius because nothing could tear them apart because she was convinced she loved him.

Or so she thought...

"You know I'm still surprised your mother still let's me hang around with you", julius exclaimed playfully patting Rose's head.

"Yes well you're the only person that understands me", rose responded promptly gazing at the beautiful sunflower field.

Julius stopped abruptly staring ahead of him his demeanor changed wistfully as he glared at rose.

"You mean understand you because you're a freak?", julius snapped pushing rose as she hit the ground.

Rose stared in shock as julius stood over her, his fists clenched and his jaws shut his eyes filled with nothing but anger, like he was being put under a spell or something. A million thoughts ran through her mind, she wanted to cry but was too angry.

" Julius how could you say that! ", Rose gasped standing on her two feet. Julius has never said anything like this before, he was her best friend!.

" It's true, the only reason I accompany you is because I feel sorry for you. You'll be nothing but a freak even your mother everyone knows she's a witch", he spat angrily pushing rose this time scraping her knee in the process.

Rose wiped a tear as her knee sting, she felt powerless, her mother was right she can't trust anyone and to love was even worse.

*Present Day*

Loving someone was my biggest mistake and I vowed never to make it again, Julius was the only person other than my mother that I truly loved.

I've taught myself that Love makes you look weak and vulnerable...and I do not like to tolerate myself as weak because when you're weak the world seems to turn against you.

"Hey watch where you're going!", a voice screeched snapping me back to reality

I turned my attention to the blonde haired female before me, her blue eyes stared sternly into mine as she pursed her lips tightly.

I hope she's not waiting for an apology.

"Well are you going to apologize?", she snapped folding her arms with a puff.

Sure I'll apologize, after burning you alive...

"I'm sorry", I said quickly waving away nasty thoughts. I really do not want to draw attention now.

With a hmph the girl stalked away as her shoes tapped against the floor making tap tap noises.

God I just realize how irritating humans are I guess its a mortal thing, I mean how miserable would you be if you were a mortal who can die so easily.

"You're a new face", I turned around facing the man. I cocked an eyebrow as I stared into his light blue-green eyes which seemed to have its own sparkle.

He was quiet the built, blonde-brown hair that glossed with every curl, perfectly shaped face with a sharp jawline, he wore a leather jacket on top of his T-shirt, black jeans and matching black shoes.

"Like what you see ,love?", the man smirked showing his pearly white teeth as he shoved his hands in his pocket.

I'm staring aren't I? God I'm an idiot what happened to love makes you weak.

"But I don't love him though", I spurted out in shock. " And I just said that out loud..", I murmured covering my mouth with my hand as the mysterious guy chuckled quietly.

Stupid stupid stupid

"Don't be embarrassed love you're not the only one who can't resist my charming good looks ", he smiled and chuckled lowly.

I-...stupid smug idiot

"The only thing charming about you is your butt cheeks glued together", I snorted loudly as he forced himself not to laugh.

"Feisty are we?", he  said amusingly with a smug look, I let out a dramatic sigh and turned around walking away.

Peace and qui-

"I'll take a wild guess here and say you're not from around here", he said matching my pace, I gave him a death glare as I walked faster.

" So that's a yes? ", he asked catching up to me, I sighed heavily and turned to face him. He stood in front of me with a smile showing his full pink luscious lip-

NO don't say it, Don't even THINK about it. Adding "poke my eyes out" To the bucket list.

"Why are you following me? ", I asked sternly giving him a glare, he gave me a quick smile before staring behind me.

I  turned around to see two men staring my way, except they weren't looking at me they were looking at the mysterious stranger. I turned my attention to the mysterious stranger and watch as his expression change...he looked dangerous than before it's like I could feel what he was feeling and he was angry..really angry.

" Friends of yours? ", I asked watching him closely, he turned his gaze to me as they  softened a bit.

" Forgive me love I have business to attend to ", he said before grabbing my hand wistfully and placing a cold kiss, I scoffed and was about to react before he walked off without another word.

Well..that was interesting  hopefully I don't run into him again.

If only I knew...
