Home is where...
The heart is,
My heart however,
Is with him.

Ruby POV

The only home I could consider was a home with him. Now he's back. God I love this boy. I turned over to Oscar who was sitting on the bench with his arm around me. He looked straight ahead and his eyes glistened as the trees sent leaves down the path with wind, blowing through his hair majestically. He looked over at me, "Ruby, why the long stare?" I sighed and looked forward towards the autumn trees and dying grass, "Because, you're back. Oscar... Whenever you're with me, life feels worth something. When you're gone, I feel lost and distraught." It was a second of silence and then, "wow okay... I was expecting something more along the lines of like, 'I liked your hair' or something." I giggled and turned over to him. "Of course you'd say that." I smiled and then hugged him and leaned against him. "I love you Oscar." He looked down to me and brushed his hand through my hair, "I love you too Ruby." I closed my eyes with the happy thought of us being together again.

Time skap~ (that's right we're back bois)

Oscar POV

I laid Ruby down on her bed and as soon as I did she rolled over on her side and began to snore loudly, I turned around and started walking back to the door, as I turned I heard a familiar voice by the open doorway. "So, that's a little pervy isn't it?" The raspy shadow spoke before he slowly walked towards me, "No, that's not. I don't... That's not what I w-" it was Qrow of course, so he laughed. "Relax kid I know. It's alright," he reached his arm around my shoulder, "She's a good kid, innocent kid. So are you. I'm okay with this. Though Weiss might be a li- I'm getting off track. The entire time you were out she never left your side. You're the light of her life and she's the light of mine. Never let those lights cease their shines." I looked at him, "Are you drunk?" He chuckled and then started walking out the door waving a hand behind his shoulder, "always." Sometimes I wondered what went through his mind but overall I was just happy knowing he wasn't going to cut my head off for being within a half-mile radius of her. I wandered out from the door and sat on the couch in our living room. Less than two minutes after I sat I heard a high-pitched voice say, "Sooooooo... Oscar," Nora stepped with her hands behind her back, "What's the whole you and Ruby sitch?" I sighed and lifted my head to look at her, "We're fine." She looked angry at the response, "Oscar I swear if you ever hurt her again Yang will kill you so fast... Speaking of which, have you talked to Yang since you woke up?" I shook my head afraid to talk to Yang. Of course Nora smirked, "Yang! Come here please!" I sighed and stretched out on the couch leaning my head over an arm. I heard a door push open and then I looked up to see Yang walk in the room. Yang stood holding the door, and saw me. She walked towards me and sat down in a chair next to the couch. I saw Nora walk out of the room smiling. "So. Oscar, we need to talk." I looked to the ceiling and never at Yang. "No we don't," I spoke quietly. Yang adjusted her chair, "Really? You seriously hurt Ruby, Osca-" I lifted my head and stared at her, "Yeah, well guess what? You never considered how I was feeling about any of this did you?! I was in a perpetual hell. And the only thing you say to me when I get back is that I messed up someone else's life? Don't even talk to me right now." I stood up as quick as I could and made my way to the front door. Yang grabbed my arm, I looked back angrily, and she let go. I pushed the doors open with a slam and started walking.
