Witnesses and Shield

~~~Renesmee's Pov~~~
We arrived back at Forks to meet the rest of the people who have come to help us. Me and sissy walked up to this young Egyptian vampire named Benjamin. Everyone watched as Rosie put her hand gently on his face as his eyes clouded over with a dazed look. When sissy was done showing him her memories, he used his hand to remove hers from his face and held it in his hand. He used his other hand to create a mini tornado in their hands. "Benjamin can influence elements." Daddy said to mommy as they watched. "And here I get amazing self control." Mommy mumbled.

Benjamin smiled at Rosie as he lifted their hands making the tornado rise high in the air above our heads, but the sweet moment didn't last long. The sound of birds and animals screeching behind us made everyone turn around as something fast was getting closer. I walked over to Rosie and took her hand in mine standing in front of her protectively. Two vampires then showed up in front of us, both had really tan skin and long pitch black hair with glowing red eyes, they had fed recently.

~~~Bella's Pov~~~
"Who are they?" I asked Edward concern obvious in my voice as I watched the two vampires in front of me. "Senna and Zafrina, from the Amazon." I walked up to Renesmee and took her hand in mine leading the girls to the Amazons. The arrival of Senna and Zafrina meant that our plea was being heard even in the most remote corners of the world. I watched as the girls showed them their thoughts and memories, which always brings a smile on my face. While others searched for witnesses closer to home. A patriot Carlisle first met on the battlefield at Yorktown would become our most unlikely ally.

The girls showed him their memories and he turned to me and Jake nodding his head showing that he would help us. Later that day Zafrina was showing us how her power works, she has the power to let you see what she wants you to. Edward looked on in amazement at something around us, "If you weren't holding my hand right now I would swear this was real." I looked around our surroundings confused because all I saw was the forest surrounding our home. "I don't see anything." I told them still very confused.

"Edward you didn't tell me your wife was a shield." Eleazar  says showing up out of nowhere. "What's a shield?" I asked Edward trying to make sense of what Eleazar was saying. He looked down at me and smiled. "The ones I met are so different." He told me, still not answering my question. "It's a defensive talent." Said Eleazar finally answering my question. "It's why I couldn't read your mind before, It's also why Aro couldn't as well." Edward explained to me, suddenly Kate takes my hand and tried to use her gift on me, but I don't even flinch. "Oh yeah, she's a shield, that shock should have put her on her ass." I wonder if I can use my shield to protect the others?
