So You Let Her Go

Piper drew in a shaky breath "W-what?!?" Annabeth frowned sadly "He left for Camp Jupiter this morning. Said he remembered and that he belonged with Reyna" Piper turned away do her friend wouldn't the tear that escaped her eye "Okay...I-I suppose its fate" she whispered so her voice wouldn't crack "I'll be in my room.." she ran away before she could answer and locked her cabin door. Her half-sisters were out shopping so the cabin was all hers. As soon as the door closed she let her tears out.

  'How could Jason leave me? I always knew he would but he didn't even say good bye!' A loud knock interrupted her thoughts "One moment" she yelled, wiping away her tears. She picked up her hair into a ponytail and washed her face before answering the door. Leo stood there. He had been her close friend for forever. The dynamic trio now a duo. Jason. Her lip wavered and felt Leo hug her and murmur soothing sounds until she fell asleep "Shhhhh"

~Leo's pov~

He felt Piper go limp in his arms. He looked down at her face. Her eyes were puffy from crying and there were tear streaks on her cheeks. He smiled sadly and brushed a stray tear from her face then laid her head against a pillow and covered her, slipping out of the cabin. He was immediately ambushed by a worried looking Annabeth and Hazel. "Is she okay?" Annabeth asked quietly. Leo met Annabeth's gaze slowly "She's hurt, of course but she's strong..." Hazel nodded solemnly and hesitantly looked at the cabin "We will check in on her in a few" she whispered finally. Leo nodded "She's asleep, and she needs her rest..." Hazel chewed on her lower lip before walking away. Annabeth stayed behind for a moment "She is strong. I was surprised she didn't break down when I...I told her" Annabeth frowned deeply "I would've". Leo looked back at the Aphrodite cabin "Yeah..." Annabeth turned around slowly and walked away, Leo at her side. He glanced back, frowning slightly as he walked.  It would take a while for her to recover, but she would eventually. She had to.

~Piper's pov~

Piper's eyes fluttered open and she stretched kicking back her sheets. She washed her face, knowing her friends would be waiting for her. She looked at the mirror and considered her looks for a moment. She combed her hair and pulled it back into a messy bun then added some mascara to hide the puffiness of her eyes. She changed her soaked camp shirt for a Baggy purplesweater and her jeans for highwaisted shorts, tucking in her top. She put on her matching converse, looking at her reflection again "Piper, your strong. You can do this" she whispered and stepped out of her cabin. She spotted Leo and skipped over, smiling

~Leo's pov~

Leo looked up from his little invention and saw piper running towards him, a smile across her face. He smiled back "Hey!" "Hey, I wanted to thank you for yesterday" she said, sitting beside him "That's what friends are for, right?"  She smiled wider "Right!"
