my heart is breaking inside of me
shattered glass cutting through me
broken and shaken
my love has been taken
i try keep it together
but i've lost you forever
my heart remains shattered
because you were the only one that mattered
and when i'm crying awake at the early hour of two
just know, i'm still broken over you
