Elliot’s POV

I watch as the girl I am falling for is leaning over the railing watching the water as the light ricochets off of it at every instant and I can’t help but smile. Her beautiful hair is blowing in the wind, there is a smile on her face that takes my breath away and I want to hold her in my arms. Lincoln is next to my beautiful girl, talking softly to her as her eyes dance from his face to the water and when he points to a school of fish near the water’s surface, she giggles like a school girl and I can’t keep my distance anymore. I walk up behind her and embrace her, her back to my chest, and breathe in her sweet scent that drives me crazy.

“Do you like it?” I ask near her ear and I can feel the excitement coming off her luscious body in ripples and I can’t contain my smile.

“I love it. I’ve never seen a beach. Today is perfect.” She turns in my arms and faces both Lincoln and myself, bringing her close to us as well. “Thank you both. Not just for today but for everything that you’ve done for me. I don’t think I’ve even thanked you before but you have no idea how much everything you have done means to me.”

“There’s no need to thank us. You being happy makes us happy.” I lean in close and kiss her cheek softly before kissing Lincoln on the lips, knowing that no one can see us. When I look back at Talia she is smiling at the two of us.

“I love seeing you do that.” Her happiness is evident in her husky voice and I hold myself back from taking her on the boat’s deck. “Can we go for a swim?” She asks, excitement coming back once more.

“Of course.” Lincoln answers. “We brought you a bathing suit, it’s in the master bedroom with all of our things.” Talia nods and walks off, well skips off, to the room leaving Lincoln and I alone. I pull him into my arms and breathe in his masculine scent as his arms wrap around me.

“She makes me so happy. She could break us though.” I whisper into his ear quietly, remembering the last relationship we had been in.

“I know, but Talia isn’t Rose.” At the sound of her name, my face contorted in a frown. “Talia’s not malicious or a liar or a cheater nor a manipulator. She’s sweet and innocent and caring, she would never hurt us.” He promises and it puts my ill mind at ease.

“You really think that of me?” A soft voice interrupts our conversation and our head whips forward to see Talia standing only a few feet from us with a towel wrapped around her. Her face is set in a soft smile and her eyes are twinkling.

“Yes.” Lincoln answers adamantly, completely sure of his answer.

“You’re amazing, my Talia.” I say, my voice rough. At this she blushes and walks over to us smiling.

“Let’s go for a swim.” Is all she says before she drops her towel and we see her in a red strapless bikini that covers only the bare essentials and I hear Lincoln groan beside me.

He walks the few steps to her and grabs Talia’s hips. “You are so beautiful. And I must say I’m glad no one is here to see you except for us. We have you all to ourselves.” His voice is so seductive that I feel myself walking forward to stand beside him.

“You’ve had me since I walked into your office.” She whispers, her voice hesitant and Lincoln and myself gasp at what she is saying and all of my worries are whisked away. We gaze at her in wonder as the words leave her mouth and she stares back up at us with her big brown eyes. “Come on, lets go for a swim.” She suggests as she walks to the edge of the boat.

“Are you coming?” She calls out before jumping off the side of the boat and landing smoothly in the water.

“Talia!” I scream and throw off my clothes, leaving only my board shorts on and jump in after her. She said that she never went to a beach, can she swim? As I come up from under the water in distress, I hear Lincoln splash in behind me and look around for Talia also.
