Akira leaving was the saddest thing that has ever happened to me,she was my only friend and I felt much more comfortable with her.At days like this when I would stay in bed with her when the others are doing the work cause I would be looking after her.Now it's back to what I did last time,but this time it was my duty to wash the dishes.
"Get ready you will do your work when were done with the adorption,there are families waiting outside to adorpt you.So get ready and wear a long dress and look respectful"Miss Darell explained before she turned to leave the room.
We got ready and we were told to stand on the stage as the families picked their favourites.
"Introduce yourself"a very friendly woman said.
"Zoë Adams"
"I would like her..." the lady said.
"You don't even know her"Miss Darell added.
"I don't need to know her"
"She is a rebel young girl"
"No am not!"I said raising my voice.
"See"Miss Darell said.
"I guess I will have the girl right next to her then"
"Who Lisa?"Miss Darell asked.
"Yes"
"Okay Lisa go pack your bags,you have a new family now"
Lisa walked off the stage to go get her stuff,I followed after her with tears in my eyes.I threw myself onto the bed.When a hand landed onto my shoulders,"Honey don't worry someone will adortp you"
"Why doesn't Miss Darell like me?"
"She likes you honey"
"No she doesn't no one here likes me why didn't you stand up for me then?!"I said raising my voice.
"Calm down"
"No am not going to calm down"I ran out of the room and went outside the ophanage doors and sat at the steps and continued crying.I wished my parents were still alive and am probably upset about Akira leaving me here all alone with no one to talk to.
{Hours Later}
I felt cold,so I walked back into the ophanage and went to my room.Maybe I should leave tomorrow and find a job.
