Shinsou & Monoma (Partners in crime)

Chapter 18 "The Doctor?"

Shinsou doesn't remember much in the last hours, he doesn't remember going back to his dorm with Monoma he doesn't remember being signed up for a doctor's appointment, and he surely doesn't remember sitting there anxiously, holding Monoma's hand waiting to be called.

"Relax Hitoshi, they are not going to hurt you they are going to help you." Monoma tries his best to reassure him.

How could Shinsou relax? He nearly committed suicide not too many hours ago, but Monoma doesn't know that, and doesn't need to know that either. But, Shinsou does feel guilty for hiding these things.

He glances back up to look at Monoma only to see his eyes leaking black fluids.

"Hitoshi? What's the matter" Monoma asks, Shinsou blinks two times before seeing the horrific image going away. Something is deeply wrong with him, he just doesn't know what it is, but then he hears that voice... that horrible voice.

He's going to leave you Shinsou, it's your fault he's noticing your strange behavior.

No... He won't leave me! I'm not doing this again! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

"Shinsou Hitoshi?" The doctor calls interrupting his battle between his mind and himself.

Shinsou and Monoma both get up and walk over to the doctor's office.

"So can you tell me what has been troubling you?" The doctor asks taking out a notepad with a pen.

"Well, I've been getting these voices in my head... and I've been hallucinating these figures and images that aren't really there... I sometimes see people like people who are dead or just these dark figures..." Shinsou responds.

"I'm assuming you have trouble sleeping" The doctor asks.

"Yes" Shinsou responds.

"Okay... You there, I'm pretty sure your his friend or boyfriend? Have you noticed anything strange in the past couple of days?" The doctor asks.

Well yeah I've seen my boyfriend nearly kill a class 1-A kid but I can't tell you that.

"Well he's been a little distant lately, and his behavior is kind of strange, well more strange than usual." Monoma responds.

"Okay I think we're finished here I will come back in half an hour with the results." The doctor says taking his leave.

"See Shinsou that wasn't so bad?" Monoma turns to Shinsou, and Shinsou looks back at him only to see a dark figure behind him, suddenly he is hit with a sharp pain lasting in his head.

"Arghhh" Shinsou grunts out clutching his head... He hasn't got a migraine in such a long time, he nearly forgot how it felt.

"Shinsou what's wrong is it-" "Just a migraine no need to worry, I'll be fine I've gotten these from over use of my quirk, i'll be okay" Shinsou cuts him off giving a weak false smile.

"Okay..." Monoma says with doubt.

*30 minutes past*

The doctor comes back with a nervous expression on his face mixed in with sadness.

"I have the results" He says bluntly.

"What is it? Am I okay?" Shinsou asks.

"No... it seems to be early signs of schizophrenia to us" The doctor replies taking his glasses off wiping them.

Shinsou heard of this...  the mental disorder that effects how a person thinks and feel and behaves... the hallucinations, the false images, there was no doubt... this was it... This was his problem...
