Chapter 20 "Happier"

Drip... drop...drip...drop....drip...drop

A rhythmic pattern with great pleasure to Shinsou's ears.

Shinsou always adored the rain... as an child it's all he looked forward to... be allowed outside or.. kicked outside and just for him to play in the rain to get let back in again.

But right now... standing here before someone... who's thinking of ending their own precious life, their own... beautiful experience as a person...

He couldn't adore the rain anymore.

He had to do something... he couldn't think straight... what could he possibly do to help this person... this student... this.... Aoyama.

*Shinsou*

What to do... What to do... I could just use my qui- no... no... that won't solve the problem... well it will stop my problem... but not theirs.

I have no other choice... I can't leave right now, and get help... I have to talk them out of it... If I don't succeed I have to prepare for someone's death.

"Aoyama, right?" Shinsou says nervously, trying his best to remain expressionless.

"Yes! Don't mind me... I'm just thinking about things." The blonde puts up a farce smile and a shaky thumbs up.

"Aoyama... I'm not an idiot, I know what you were trying to do..." Shinsou explains.

Aoyama looks at his feet, not only is he embarrassed someone saw him like this.. but he's even shocked by his own actions, but he knows what he wants to do... he knows how much better his class would be without an over bearing weight like him.

"Shinsou, just leave...I need to do this... It's for the best, if it will make everyone else happier than... I'll do it." Aoyama says looking down at the ground again...

He remains facing the school grounds, he sees Monoma in the distance staring up at him, ugh...another person in his presence... why can't he just leave peacefully?

"Aoyama... this is the worst answer to your problems possible." Shinsou says shockingly after hearing Aoyama response.

"Please just come to me... I'll bring you to your classmates and-"

"NO! I'm not going back to them! You don't understand one thing Shinsou!" Aoyama says angrily as he began to approach Shinsou.

Okay this is a start he's leaving the area... but he looks mad as Bakugo when Midoriya does something.

Aoyama then began cursing Shinsou out in pure french fury, which since Shinsou isn't fluent in French, is unable to understand the colorful language

But then Aoyama calms himself down a bit and began speaking in English again, but still has a thick French accent he didn't had before lingering in his speech.

"They talk! All they do is talk about how useless some of the quirks are in our class! Judging me with their eyes, hurting me with their words... even claiming Mineta is better than me... They hate how much I try... I try everyday to make friends but I can't! Even Midoriya is annoyed with me, nearly everyday and finds an excuse to leave early whenever we hang out!" Aoyama practically screams at Shinsou.

"They don't even bother looking at me... they ignore and ignore... but how could they ignore such a thing? how could they ignore my death... I wish they will, and stop talking... but they'll care only because they knew me and knew I died..."
