"That's fine," I sigh, "you actually reminded me that I need to go grocery shopping."
At the sound of the word shopping, Tae quickly shouts a goodbye. He was out the door faster then I could even blink.
"He didn't even clean up his mess" I whine as I gesture at the wrapper and crumbs all over my counter.
"I'll tag along if you need help" Jimin offers as walks over to the counter and picks up the empty wrapper.
"You don't have to" I swipe the crumbs into the palm of my hand and disposing them into the trash can.
"I insist."
"Then go pick yourself out a hat while I put on my shoes" I motion for him to go.
He hops over to the coat closet and pulls out a red beanie. All while I walk over to the door and grab my boots. I plop down and start putting them on, making sure to tie my laces tightly. Jimin plops down next to me and swiftly pulls his shoes on his feet.
He stands back up and offers to help me up. I accept and he pulls me up a bit too quickly. I ended up stumbling forward a bit, though his "cat-like reflexes" went into attention, so I was caught in his arms before I could fall.
"Thanks fam," I let out a chuckle and tried to detach myself from him, but he didn't release me, "Jimin, everything's fine now, let me go."
I feel his arms tense around me and his heart was pounding slightly. I raise an eyebrow but he probably couldn't see it though. I shiver as I sense a warm breath on my neck and then I'm suddenly free from him. I stand there a bit frozen as to what just happened.
"Y/N! Let's go!" Jimin laughs as he was already out the door. He was already back to his cheery self again. I shake my head and grab my phone, wallet, and keys. I shove my phone and wallet into my back pocket exit my house.
After shutting the door and turning the key in the lock, I stand still for a minute. I wonder why he acted like that? He seemed... tense? Hesitant even?
"Y/N, are you okay?" Jimin says with worry laced in his voice. That snaps me out of my thoughts and I jiggle the key out of the key hole.
"Yah I'm fine, the key was just stuck" I lie and make my way over to him.
"Oh okay."
