Grey.. it's the only color I've ever seen.. That's all anyone ever sees, until they meet their soulmate.

We basically can only see the "colors" black, white, and grey. A lot of people I live with don't have a problem with it, but I'm a different story. A little backstory. I'm adopted, and live with my amazingly kind father. He never met anyone who made his world explode with color, so he gave up, and adopted me instead, putting me and my thoughts before everyone, and everything, even himself. So I'm the only female in his life right now, besides our fluff ball Gino (an adorable baby dog). he lived the same life as me, he was adopted, parent never found love, the cycle continues.. Most people think our family just.. doesn't have soulmates, that were destine to be alone, but I highly doubt it. My father had told me that no one in our family has ever found love, if it's true, I'm going to show him that I can, if it's not, I'm going to prove him wrong. And so I did.

One day, searching through the attic, I found a photo album full of pictures of trees, dogs, cats, water, you name it! Just no people... Until-

A flash of .. color is seen, but I slam it close before I get a good look, hearing the attic door open, my dad calling for me.

"Sweety, C'mon, dinner's ready! And there's someone we want you to meet!"

I sigh "Okay, gives me a bit, I'll be down soon!" I smile as my dad closes the cealing door.

I open the picture album and see a colored picture... wait, color? My eyes widen and I read aloud the words underneath the picture. "Lisa Johnson and Jim Johnson... But... that's my dad.." The picture being in color shows that they were indeed soulmates. Why wouldn't dad tell me about this.. Is this where he goes all those days?

"What the hell!" I shout, running out of the attic, picture album in hand. I run into the kitchen, not noticing the boy with long brown hair, the mother with the brown hair, and the boy with blue hair. "Dad! w-what the hell? Why would you lie to me!?" i look at him with tears in my eyes, then turning my attention to the three others, but when I meet eyes with the blue haired boy, I'm taken aback. Color flashes over my vision, all at once, and I feel my legs giving out, The boy seems to also be surprised, and he ran over to catch me. I look at him and smile.

"H-hey there soulmate.. " I giggle, and he laughs, lifting his mask, and pressing his lips against mine.

My father cleared his throat, and we both jump up. He smiles and I hug him. I then meet the other half of my family, also known as my awesomely rad mom, and cool ass brother.
