Before this story begins there are a few things I'd like to clarify to avoid confusion.

Firstly: there will be flashbacks and there will be dialogue in those flashbacks so you will 'hear' said dialogue as it's your mind kind of replaying a moment.

Secondly: This story is set in the 21st Century although I've pushed technological advancements slightly further for the purposes of this story.

Thirdly: There is a moment in the prologue that may cause confusion. But to keep it short, you were taught to build walls/barriers around your emotions and heart so that you didn't crack and break completely.
