Siya's POV

Everyone was asleep I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about the wedding and how thankful I was of Alia. If she wasn't there I would have never gotten to marry Rishi. Me and Rishi fall in love with each other in beginning of College. Alia found out and she kept my secret. My parents never would have agreed on love marriage. So she somehow made it look like it was arrange. Long story but in short he was son of our parents friends relative.

Next morning everyone was up and preparing for wedding and decorating our backyard because all the ceremonies are gonna be in the backyard.

Alia's POV

Me, Siya, Parishi, Mum, and my aunts were in my parents room which is where Siya's wedding gown and all her clothes for the wedding were. Right now we are all trying on clothes for last minute adjustments and matching jewelries that we are gonna wear while everyone else was starting to decorate for the first ceremony.
After hours of spending time chnging clothes I actually realized that she was gonna be gone. I just stayed in my room listening to music and reading a book.

Until Nash just walks in. He is always so funny and lighten up the mood. We may be cousins but he is like a brother but more like my best friend.

"Hey twin" He says making me giggle.

"Hey Nash" I say signaling him to come in.

"Why are you here sitting alone while we are all downstairs eating ice cream and watch a movie" He asked.

"I just want to be alone" I said looking down.

"okay what's up?" He said sitting beside me.

"I am gonna miss her" I said trying to keep my tears in but that didn't work.

"Alia we are all going too. But look on the bright side. They both love each other and Rishi makes Siya happy. We have all seen that. Plus don't tell this to anyone but Rishi bought an apartment just for him and Siya. Trust me he loves her." He said while my head was on his chest and he was still hugging me. As I said we were very close and I could look up to him anytime.

"Thank you Nash you always know how to help me through things. You are the best brother uh no wait Best Twin ever. Wait we are gonna have to meet up with Rishi and have a little chat." I said smiling a bit pulling away from the hug and Nash knew what I meant so he nodded while laughing like an evil.

"Okay that evil laugh does not suit you" I said laughing making him burst into laugher.

"Okay now come on lets go down. We are doing our famous movie and game night today. Before everything starts."

And with that being said we went down and enjoyed the night.

All the ceremony started. Yesterday was Ganesh pooja(This ritual is done in the beginning to remove any bad obstacle that may come in the way and for good luck to start a new life).

Today was Mendhi(heena) ceremony. Me and the girls were getting ready where Siya had to get ready in the morning because she is the bride its take a while to get her hands and legs done(pics below). (All the clothes visuals down below for main characters)

All the men were already ready and welcoming the guest. I was helping Parishi with her hair because that was the last thing to do for her. She was ready to go. I was the the only one to get ready. So after doing her hair. I started doing my make up. And then put on my traditional wear and did my hair and went down. Everyone was alredy here. Except the Mendes family. Yes they were invited as well. We were really good friends with them because of Parishi and Aaliyah so we invited them.
