Dedicated to nigntsnades for being the first person to dedicate a chapter to me.

Annabeth and Percy bounded up the stairs to see a girl dismount a pegasus. The rest of the Seven was surrounding her, but at a distance.

The girl looked around 16, with loose, dark curls. She was carrying a bag that looks overstuffed, and a backpack that didn't look any better. As she turned around, Annabeth saw that half of her right eyebrow has been singed off, replaced with a burn scar.

The other demigods had their weapons ready, but Annabeth's drakon bone sword was sheathed. She didn't feel the need to pull it out. Something about the girl had led Annabeth to trust her immediately.

Of course, that just made Annabeth even more uneasy. When she trusts someone, it usually turns out exactly the opposite of what she thought it would be.

But Annabeth still kept her sword sheathed. "Lower your weapons," she told her friends. Then she looked at the girl and slowly approached her. "What's your name?"

"I'm Ariel." Ariel said. Now that Annabeth got to concentrate on Ariel, she could see that she was distinctively Asian. Her eyes were reflective, even though they were dark. They were no where as intimidating as Annabeth's, but they seem to stare at everything they land on, even if they just stay for a second.

"And you're a demigod, right?" Annabeth asked.

"No. Well, yes, since I'm a Percy Jackson fan-"

"A what?" Percy interrupted, confusion all over his face.

"Back to the point." Annabeth said before Ariel could respond. "If you're not a demigod, how could you ride a pegasus?"

"I'm a legacy. Of Athena, and Aphrodite." Ariel said it simply, like she was giving answers to a test. "Aphrodite's my grandmother on my mom's side, and Athena, my dad."

"So that makes you me and Annabeth's what? Great cousin?" Piper said, Katoptris lowered.

"I guess." Ariel shrugged. "And, I'm pretty sure Chiron's Iris Message is coming soon."

"So you know about Chiron?" Percy asked.

"Of course. Where do you think I got the pegasus from?" Ariel put her hand on the pegasus.

"Talk to it." Annabeth told Percy, gesturing to the pegasus. "Try and get as much information as possible."

"Alright, then." Percy walked over to the horse.

"Mess hall, now." Annabeth ordered. "Ariel. Follow me." Annabeth was a little more softer towards Ariel now, knowing she's her great cousin. But Annabeth's still not sure if she's on her side, so she tried to restrain herself from trusting her.

"Okay. First, who sent you here?" Piper asked Ariel, her charmspeak strong to force Ariel to say the truth. The Seven and Ariel were sitting in the mess hall, with Her taking up Coach Hedge's seat.

"Chiron. What are you making this, a interrogation with charmspeak instead of truth serum?"

"What?"

"Never mind."

"Alright. Why did Chiron send you?"

"He thinks I can save Percy and Jason's life, since I know what's going to happen in the war."

Every demigod in the room visibly paled. Annabeth's eyes widened, and she stood.

"Wait a minute. So Percy is going to die?" Annabeth knew that she didn't have any power with charmspeak, nor did she care. Her great-cousin wouldn't lie about something like that, would she? "How are you sure?"
