i was watching r/prorevenge on youtube and thought of this story. although it isnt anything revolutionary. i still find it very amusing to this day. hope you enjoy! 💕

around the winter time, my school hosts an annual talent show. and ever since i came to the school, i always joined it. however, my 'friends' would never really pay attention to my performances. that is until i decided to leave these 'friends' of mine because of their toxicity, manipulation of me, and constant lack of attention to me. now, during my performance that year i left them, all eyes were on me. and though i really dont mean to brag, i am a pretty good singer. though, im no future Taylor Swift or Beyonce i was good enough for everyone to look forward to my performance each year along with a few other talented students. this year, i decided to sing 'all of me' by john legend. once my performance ended, i received a large amount of applause. and as i was exiting the stage i highfived some kids putting their hands out. and though the attention made me extremely happy and grateful (and overwhelmed 0w0) what made me the happiest was the absolutely shocked faces of those ones i once i called friends. i put on a sweet smile and waved over to them. secretly enjoying their flabbergasted reactions.
