MRS JEONGYEON:

MR YOUNGJAE:

MRS JISOO:

Mrs. Jisoo was so mad when she heard about Jiyoung and Mina canceling their wedding. It's only less than 3 months before the wedding. Preparation is almost all done. The invitation cards also already send out last week.

"Here, I returned back to you." Mrs. Jisoo put a jewelry box on the table.

"Oh? Why?" Mrs Jihyo clueless. The jewelry actually her wedding gift for Mina.

"Mina called off the wedding!" Mrs Jisoo mad.

"Why? What happened? She wanted to postpone it?" Mrs Jihyo surprise hears the news.

"No! She did not just postpone it, she cancels it. She broke up with Jiyoung."

"But why? Is Jiyoung do any wrong?"

"Heol! Jiyoung did nothing wrong. Maybe she needs nothing from Jiyoung anymore. Maybe she just used him to pay his studies fee. And I have a feeling she cheated on him!" Mrs Jisoo makes her speculation.

"Are you sure? I thought Mina is a nice girl."

"Then, are you saying my son is the bad one?"

"No-no. I just surprise Mina do something like that."

"Sister-in-law, don't deceive by her innocent face. She is a hypocrite. Do you know Jiyoung are not coming to work for 4 days now? He must be so broken heart. I can't believe my son spent his time with a sly girl like that for 8 years. She really ruining him and she embarrassing our family too. I won't forgive her." Anger clearly shows on Mrs Jisoo face.

"It's okay. Jiyoung is a perfect man. I'm sure he can get a new one anytime soon."

"I hope he can move on fast. I want him to prove to that girl, that she is nothing for him."

"Our son really don't know how to find a right woman." Mrs Jihyo smile bitterly.

"Talking about that. Have you hear anything from your son yet?"

Mrs Jihyo shakes her head. "No. But I have a feeling dad actually secretly keeps in touch with him."

Mina put her resignation letter on Mr Jin table.

Mr Jin takes the letter and read through it. "Why? Is it because of Jiyoung?" Mr Jin asked.

Mina just bites her inner lips and look on the floor. She cannot just tell Mr Jin she wanted to resign because of his grandson cheating and broke her heart.

"I won't stop you if you want to go. But if this because of Jiyoung, I don't want you to go. How about you find a job first while you're working here? If later you get a new job, then I allowed you to go." Mr Jin said.

"Uh?" Mina surprise. Most of the people already know about she called off the wedding. People in the company gossiping about it. Everyone thought she is at the wrong side. Everyone talks bad about her without knowing the real story.

"I know the truth, Mina. I know Jiyoung is the one cheated on you. Even though he is my grandson, what he did is still wrong. So I hope you stay. Why you have to run away when you are the victim?" Mr Jin takes one form from his drawer. He writes something on it and signs the form. "Here. Take a 2 weeks of. Think of it first. I will keep this letter. If after that you still want to resign, then you can go." Mr Jin gives Mina a leave form.

"Mr Jin I-" Mina hesitate.

"Honestly, I didn't recruit you to work here just because of Jiyoung. But I did because I know you have potential. I like how you work." Mr Jin said.

"T-thank you." Mina hesitate.

"And one more thing. I used to hear you called me abeoji. So just continue to call me that, okay?"

Mina just smiles. She almost wants to cry at that moment. She touches by Mr Jin kindness.

Mina walks slowly from the station bus to her house. She starts to cry again. Her memories with Jiyoung start playing in her mind again. She still can't believe he is not hers anymore  and there is no wedding to look forward.

Mina steps stop when she is near her house. She sees Jennie stands in front of her house.

Mina quickly wipes off her tears. She walks forward. "What are doing here?!" She asks; angry.

"Let's talk," Jennie said.

"I have nothing to talk with you." Mina walk passes Jennie to the front door.

"You cannot hate me so much, Mina ya," Jennie said.

"You stab my back, you sleep with my fiance, how could I not hate you? Just leave. I already cancel the wedding, I broke up with Jiyoung, Mrs Jisoo hates me and people talk bad about me. You don't have to explain or say anything to me anymore." Mina said coldly. She takes her house key from her handbag.

"That is how I felt, Mina! That is how I felt when you always get all the attention. We always do everything together, but it was only you get the praised and loved. Everyone loves you! Even the man I like likes you!" Jennie let out her anger that she kept for 8 years.

"W-what? I thought we are best friends, Jennie!" Mina looks at Jennie in disbelief.

"Best friend! A best friend would not date a man that her best friend like. I liked Jiyoung oppa first! I was the one who meets him first. You know about it. You already know I like him but you still accepted him as your boyfriend!"

Mina let out a gasp and clutch her hand. "I thought you were happy for us."

Jennie chuckle. "You thought that because you only care about your feeling."

Mina burst into tears. She feels so upset with Jennie. "Maybe I was wrong I don't really think about your feeling. But...as my best friend, shouldn't you be happy for me?"

"How would I be happy for you, when you make me unhappy?!"

"You are sick, Jennie!" Mina shout. "I'm sorry I didn't know you hates sees me happy. I didn't know because for me, a best friend would not get jealous of their best friend happiness. Go! I don't want to see your face anymore!"
