16: Why She Left

Karli and Gray arrived back at their hotel to meet up with Ethan and Kiera. When they walked in only Ethan was there practicing his dance moves to some new songs he listened to.

Ethan: Oh hey, what's up guys!

Grayson: Hey! Just had so much fun with K.

Karli: You bet we did! (She said with a huge smile)

Grayson: Hey, where is Kiera?

Karli: Yeah, is everything ok?

Ethan: Oh, well there was a problem that Kiera had to leave for. I have her some money to fly her back home.

Karli: WhAt?!?!? Why wouldn't she tell me?

Ethan: She said she couldn't. It was too hard for her to stay here, so she left.

Grayson: Well, guess it's just us then.

Karli: Yeah, I mean I'm not super bummed because we were never really great for each other any way.

Ethan: what makes you say that?

Karli: Well three years ago we met and basically hated each other for a year until we became "best friends". She I am obviously a very positive and uplifting person and I'm always trying to help everyone out. She would come to me with problems but when I tried to help her out she would just make up excuses on why that wouldn't work. She wasn't a problem solver. At one point we weren't seeing each other as often because I do a ton besides hang out with friends all of the time. She called me one night and I told her I'm not sure about this whole "best friend" thing since it was different now. She insisted that we were still best friends. I didn't like it. This wasn't a true and joyful friendship even. Eventually we didn't talk at all. I saw her in the hallways at school but she also changed. She isn't that caring and she is doing not the greatest stuff. I don't know. I guess I would just rather surround myself with more people who I can help out and who can help me out and have a strong relationship with like you guys.

Ethan: Wow.

Grayson: yeah that makes total sense. Well hey, maybe this became what it was for the better. Lets just focus on all of us now and have some fun.

Ethan: Wait wait wait.

Karli: Yeah?

Ethan: Gray, why do you have your arms round her?

Grayson: Oh uh.

Ethan: Dude it totally cool. (He said faking)

Grayson: Oh, right.

Karli's POV:
I could tell something was up. I wasn't quite sure what it was but something was definitely up. Ethan didn't seem that approving of whatever was going on with me and Gray.

Then Ethan pulled Gray aside...
