Chapter 2

A Special Encounter

Wait..

Did he just looked for a carrot?

Wait, I'm confused.

I looked at Mr. Jeon who sat right in front of me with palm placed on his forehead. Is he frustrated? I looked at the guy who was looking for a carrot but right now, he had his eyes fixed on me.

Shit, it's like he's staring into my soul. However, his stare wasn't kind of a pervert but rather he looked shocked as I can see his orbs sparkling. He suddenly approached me, step by step. I don't why I feel frozen in my spot as he took a single step towards me. In fact, his eyes were so fixed to mine as he kept stepping closer to me.

I tend to avoid his gaze but the next direction my eyes went was on him. We had a staring contest which made my heart beat rapidly in anxiety. His arms were fixed by both sides of the chair that I've been stuck on.

His orbs were beautiful. His eyebrows and eyelashes were perfect even his nose was cute. But, his lips were amazingly crafted by god. I couldn't believe this human being even existed. Wait, Sujin? Did you just compliment his features in your mind? I slapped myself and faced reality. He is weird but special.

"Jungkook! The woman is frightened. Please keep your distance!" Mr. Jeon suddenly yelled at him as he moved away from me.

He suddenly sat next to Mr. Jeon.

"Ms. Kim, I apologize for that. But..um.. This is Jeon Jungkook, my only son." he announced as Jungkook still had the same stare from a while ago.

"Oh..is that so? Nice to meet you, Jungkook-ssi." I stood up and approached him with my hand inviting him to shake hands with me. I smiled widely but he was still staring at me, not minding my hand. So, I just clasps my hands together and went back to my sofa.

He really is special.

"Thank you so much for accepting the offer, Ms. Kim. I hope we can trust you as you will start working here tomorrow. And, Mr. Kim Seokjin, thank you for helping me." Mr. Jeon thanked us as we stood by the main door of the mansion.

"No problem, Mr. Jeon. Actually, I did not only help you but I was also able to help my little sister in hunting a job. So that's like, killing two birds in one stone." the two of them chuckled

"Right, Jin. Once again, thank you." Mr. Jeon said as Jin and I waved him goodbye as we walk towards our car

As we entered, Jin and I talked about today.

"So, how are you?"

"Fine actually. But, I have to be honest."

"Why? Is something wrong?"

"Well...Jungkook, Mr. Jeon's son, is a bit..special? I mean...he isn't the same as..a normal kid?"

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. Jeon Jungkook, Mr. Jeon's son, has a psychological and mental problem. Doctors have said that Jungkook has his own world wherein he is the most attractive rabbit who is looking for the most unique carrot in the world. Based on the doctors, when he found this carrot, he is able to see the real world." My brows furrowed upon listening to my brother

"Are you kidding, Jin?" I scoffed but seeing his serious face, I think it's true.

"Yah, Sujin. The doctors stated that not me."

We reached home after a couple of minutes later. I directly went to my ro and prepared some materials for teaching. There are pictures related to language and some story book so he could learn how to read. Mr. Jeon told me he doesn't even know how to write. Which is why, it is my duty to help him.
