Hershal reculantly agreed but Sam didnt. "Im not letting you go out their on your own." Sam said as he grabbed her arm "Im not alone and I can take care of myself Sam." Elizabeth said and put her katana back in the case on her back and walked to the barn where Maggie went. Sam sighed and turned towards Beth and the man "So whats up?"

Elizabeth rode on the horse Maggie had given her to ride,silently as Maggie led due to the fact Rick had told her where to find Lori who was apperantly his wife. They rode in silence until they came upon a group of people with a blonde girl with a dead one over her. Maggie nodded to Elizabeth so Elizabeth sliced the dead-ones head off.

"Any of you Lori?" Maggie asked , a woman with wavy brown hair imediatly stepped up and a boy looking somewhere around Elizabeths age with brown hair stepped up behind her. "I am why?" she asked worriedly. "Your kids been shot." Elizabeth said and she gasped. "Woah what happened?" the boy asked. "That will be explained by Rick but now i need Lori to come with me." Maggie said and Lori nodded and stepped to get on Maggies horse.

"You cant get on that horse with her we dont know her." a man with a crossbow and dirty brown hair said in a thick southern acent. "They have Carl." Lori said stepping onto the horse.

"Can I go?" the boy with brown hair asked. "If its okay with Elizabeth." Maggie said. He looked at the other girl and she reculantly nodded. The boy got onto the horse and they began their way back to Hershals place as Maggie shouted "Mailbox says Greene cant miss it." to the rest of the people and they began to ride back to Hershals.

Meanwhile Sam sat at the kitchen table across from Beth , she had made him a sandwich wich he excepted. "So hows it like being safe here?"Sam asked not really knowing how to word it."Well Ive never been out there during this so I cant compare it , how is it like out there?" Beth asked curious.

"Trust me you dont want to be out there it-it changes you a lot." Sam said thinking of his little sister. "Did you change?" She asked him. "It changes everyone , but my sister it change her so much. Just be glad you arent out there." Sam said , truth was he'd taken an instrest in Beth , she was beutiful and he liked her personality but he knew not to get attached.

The front door opened to reveal Maggie , Lori , Elizabeth , and the boy. "Who is this?" Sam asked standing up pointing to the blue eyed boy. "Im Colby , Colby Brock." Colby said. Sam , Colby, Beth , and Elizabeth were the only ones left in the room because Lori had imediatly went to Carl and Maggie led her into the room. "Why are you here?" Sam asked "He wanted to come Sam." Elizabeth said and Sam sat back down and Elizabeth decided to go outside and sit on the porch.

She sat on the porch rail and looked out into the woods. She was tired of thinking but it's all she could do. The door opened again to reveal Colby. "What do you want?" Elizabeth asked barley glancing at him. "Well i want to give Lori and Rick some time with Carl and I wanted to check if you were okay." he said. "You dont know me so dont act like you do because if you did you wouldnt be out here right now and you damn sure wouldnt have gotten on that horse with me." Elizabeth said truthfully. "You dont know that." Colby stated moving to stand infront of her.

"Okay sure." she replied when Hershal came out and looked at Elizabeth "You and your brother can stay for a while we have two tents so you can set them up in the yard and stay but only for a while." Hershal said. "Okay thank you." Elizabeth said standing up. "Oh and uhm i saw you had water would you mind me and my brother taking a shower?" she asked and Hershal nodded "The bathroom is upstairs on the left." Hershal said and Elizabeth nodded and walked past Colby and followed Hershal inside. She walked by Sam "Hershal said we could stay for a while he has tents for us and we can take a shower , I call first." Elizabeth said and began to walk upstairs when Beth stood up "Wait you look like you could use some new clothes you can have some of mine we look about the same size." Beth said and Elizabeth nodded and let Beth lead Elizabeth to her room.

Beth opened her bedroom door and let Elizabeth in , Elizabeth looked around at the pictures on the wall and turned her attention to Beth who was pulling stuff out of her drawer. She handed Elizabeth a black long sleved kind of see through shirt with a made in tank top , and a pair of jeans along with underwear. "Thanks , do you happen to have a hair tie or a brush i could use?" she asked and Beth nodded and grabbed a brush and a hair tie. "Thanks." Elizabeth said and walked to the bathroom.

Elizabeth walked in and sat the clothes on the counter then she looked into the mirror. She felt sick just looking at herself , she couldnt even see her body past her middle stomach. Her face was smeared in blood and dirt and it was littered in cuts so was what you could see of her neck and chest. She slowly grabbed the bottom of her long sleved black shirt and tried to pull it off. All of the cuts she had have formed scabs that were a part of the shirt.She groaned and grabbed her knife and pulled at the bottom of the shirt wich released the smaller cuts then she got to a large slash along her stomach wich happened when they ran into the wrong people.

Elizabeth pulled the shirt away from her body and groaned as she cut the knife into the scab. Soon after she had gotten her shirt off she began on her jeans. It took about five minutes and she undressed completly. She didnt want to look in the miror again.

Elizabeth turned the water on and stepped in sighing as the warm water hit her skin. The water turned a dark crimsom color along witg the dirt. Elizabeth washed her hair and body hissing as soap got in the deeper cuts.

She exited the shower after a while and she went to the mirror and turned around to look at the marks where her father had whipped her and sighed. She looked at her body and saw that the cut on her stomach was still bleeeding. As if on cue there was a knock at the door , Elizabeth huridly wrapped a towel around her body "Who is it?" she asked "Its me Beth i brought you some things." Elizabeth opened the door and Beth smiled at her and handed her a bag. "Take as long as you need Sam is in no hurry." Beth said and shut the door.

Elizabeth looked in the bag and the first thing she saw was bandages so she grabbed them along with the medical tape. Elizabeth grabbed the white bandage and wrapped it around her stomach to cover the cut on her stomach. She then wrapped her left wrist and then she put on the deoderant Beth provided her then put on her bra followed by the shirt wich had little thumb holes. She then put on her underwear and put on the black jeans and looked in the bag to see a pair of socks and a pair of black lace up boots she smiled and looked at her old tenishoes wuch were ripped and caused blisters on her feet. She sat on the toilet and put on the white socks followed by the boots.

She stood up and looked in the miror and comed through her hair with the brush , removing all the tangles. She put her hair up in a ponytail and looked in the mirror and sighed , she still had cuts on her face but she looked a lit better without the dirt and grime.
